"Fair but quantity rather than quality! I had crab salad, mostly brown meat, mayonnaise, a lot of spinach leaves with dressing, chips or new potatoes. I was rather put off by all this spinach salad! Dessert was a tarte Tatin served with ice cream and a lot of whipped cream. A bit heavy for me, especially the thick pastry."

"We really enjoyed our lunch and can definitely recommend the cauliflower steak and the Vegan chocolate browni! Very pretty interior and clearly labeled vegan options. All in all very delicious and would go again"

"Fantastic representation, could imagine that it has great character at halloween or christmas. they offer the main menu and menu, both different dishes. starters were large portions and netzen were relatiw small portions, so we had no place for dessert. vegan starter was with cheese on, but once replaced was super. great setting, good eating, but service was pretty slow, it didn't seem to be someone responsible or leading and the staff seemed quite inexperienced. if they are out of town and visit alnwick, it is worth a visit, but would not be a repetition visit."

"That was a great Indian we found during the stay in alnwick. we called in advance to check that they were ok with vegan food and the man on the phone was very confident that there would be a lot of options if we let our waiter know. when we asked our waiter, there were many options. our waiter accidentally wrote a non- vegan rice on our order and this was discovered by the cook who then came to ask us if it was a mistake as he knew we were vegan. we were very impressed that knowing that we were vegan, had clearly been passed on to all employees to ensure that we were served correct products."
