"Mastra was an authentic and delicious Italian dining experience, but was, sadly, overshadowed by absurdly slow service and long wait times. We arrived at 6:30pm on a Wednesday night and waited half an hour to be seated. That's perfectly acceptable as we had no reservation. Unfortunately, once seated we waited 20 minutes just to get our order in and another 20 minutes for our food. I'd have been more lenient with these wait times if it weren't for the fact that the focaccia appetizer took 15 minutes to get to our table. Typically something as simple as focaccia should be to the table in a few minutes. The food was great. We ordered the tomato focaccia, the pesto lasagna and the lasagna Bolognese. I enjoyed it all but the pesto lasagna was the highlight of the culinary experience. I'd strongly recommend it. I'd read that many call the lasagna Bolognese the best they've ever had and I must disagree. It was good but not the best lasagna I've ever had. For dessert we enjoyed a tiramisu to go and it was delicious! Maybe we expected too much, but the waiting put a damper on the entire experience. Also, I'm a diet coke addict and dining at a place with non-refillable drinks is always a bit of a drag. If they'd install a drink machine I'd have been just a bit happier. All in all, though, it was good Italian food."

"During my recent visit to a restaurant, I was disappointed to find a few issues that dampened the overall experience. Firstly, I noticed that the tables were not cleaned to an acceptable standard. This lack of cleanliness was disappointing as it detracted from the overall ambiance of the restaurant.Secondly, I placed my order using the machine available at the entrance. However, despite this supposed convenience, my order was completely ignored and I had to wait an unreasonably long time before my food was finally delivered. This was a frustrating experience that certainly detracted from my overall dining experience.Despite these setbacks, I must say that the waffle I ordered was quite enjoyable. The taste was good and it was presented in an appealing manner. However, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was depressing and not conducive to an enjoyable dining experience.In conclusion, while I appreciated the quality of the waffle, the lack of cleanliness and the slow service, as well as the overall ambiance, left much to be desired. With some improvements, this restaurant could certainly become a more appealing dining destination."

The prices I don't know don't seem to be high, you get what you pay for Bro. Looks like it's expensive good food looks good, I wouldn't turn it off at all."

"I had the fried chicken w/ sesame dressing, Haku Ramen, and Shoyu Ramen (all pictured . I expected fried chicken wings or drums with a house made sesame glaze or sauce. Instead I got tiny fried chicken bits that were hard to find in the fried batter and a sesame sauce that I 100% guarantee is the sesame dressing sold at Costco lol. It's good dressing but not something I expect to be served in this setting, a 1 star appetizer. The Shoyu Ramen was heavy on the mushrooms but otherwise pretty good, 3 stars. The Haku Ramen had a much more balanced and interesting flavor, 4.5 stars. The chili oil that they offer is a necessity for either Ramen, made a big difference in flavor. The sparkling yuzu drink was delicious but I can't exactly credit the restaurant for that (and they charge almost $4 for it . I may return to try other menu items but I won't be in a hurry go do so. (Also, why the menu is printed on paper the size of a billboard I cannot understand..."

"We eat a few doors down in the Indian restaurant and our friend said he wanted to bring us here to get a covenant of cake for my birthday. Jenna (the owner) overheaded our conversation and came to our table and offered to bring us a cake even though they were closed. A few minutes later, she brought us the delicious chocolate chip filling cake and didn't even let us pay. I was so touched! Definitely go to support this place!"
