"Thr duck rolls gad one very small once od duck...BOTH of them, so you know its purposeful. Will never buy them again. shrimp and chicken rolls had equally little meat. very disappointing. not a smart way to build a repeat customer business."

"That was my first time I had eaten Ethiopian food. It is common to eat your food with the right hand. It was an exciting experience and I can't wait to explore more hand eating. There are many vegan options. Get a taste and order the vegetarian / vegan dish and you will get a sample of each. The food is a lot and it is hard to even finish your dish. I'm back!"

"Rasan and his team recently catered our wedding. From the start, they were passionate and knowledgable about the food down the finest detail. This flowed through into the taste of each dish that was carefully hand picked for our wedding based on our tastes and feedback. We couldn't recommend Surjit's highly enough and can't wait to return to the restaurant again soon! Thank you again so much for making everything perfect for us!"

"We are locals and have been waiting for Osteria Antica to open, now it has.We popped in and booked a table last night, went up to the pub, had a couple of beers and came back.We were informed that they had sold out of a couple of the starters and had no pastas at all left, this means we will just have to go back again. I guess you could have a negative view on this but mine is thoroughly positive, they have just opened, they are busy, this is a good thing and will be temporary.The staff were lovely and apologetic offering us a glass of prosecco as a way of apology, really not necessary, but well received.We ordered a lovely Tomato & Bocconcini Salad, Polenta chips with Gorgonzola Sauce which were pretty good maybe just needed to be more Gorgonzola-y, a Truffle Mushroom Pizza that was just fabulous, all chewy, burnt edges and mushroomy truffley goodness and a Spicy Pizza which was also very good.We ordered a couple of glasses of Chianti but they had sold out , they then gave us a lovely upgraded wine for the same price.All in all we really enjoyed the meal and once all the little kinks have been ironed out this place will shine, they have lovely, sincere staff, the makings of a great menu, good plonk and a nice ambiance. We will be back.This morning we were talking about dinner and I was told that the Truffle Pizza was in fact the best Pizza the wife had ever had, that is high praise indeed.You really should go......"

"White tablecloths and good glassware, bottom-friendly booths and a smart bar create a sense of event and a measure of ease in this cosy, modern diner. The menu based on a seasonal selection that focuses on small producers. Freshly socked oysters with chicken pate, venison carpaccio, & scallops are very testy & present well. The Duck leg is transformed into a fine confit and presented with cinnamon, orange-scented red cabbage. Roasted Lamb & Crispy Skin Barramundi with french style lentil is perfect for winter. Warm Sticky date Pudding & hot chocolate fondant were outstanding. Friendly waiters, a neat wine list, a comfortable atmosphere and top-notch produce add up to a good, all-round neighbourhood bistro."

"The fritters are my favourite! <br/ Blueberry White Chocolate Fritter (4/5): The fritters basically taste like donut holes stuck together to form a Fritter what more could you want! The Blueberry White Choc is lovely because of the lashings of white choc sauce on top of a glazed fritter littered with blueberry bits. <br/ Apple Crumble Fritter (4/5): The caramel sauce on this is so buttery and delicious! It could use a few more bits of apple because it tastes much more like a caramel fritter than it does apple but hey, I'm not complaining. <br/ Fairy Bread Donut (3.75/5): The fairy bread icing is sooo creamy and lovely and it really makes the donut! The donut itself is nice and fluffy but not as delicious as the texture of the fritters<br/ Toasted Coconut Donut (3.5/5): The coconut flavour is there on the topping but not that noticeable in the donut itself. The shredded coconut gives it nice texture but as a coconut lover, I wanted more coconut flavour!"
