"We found this quaint restaurant quite by chance in the pouring rain, but once inside it was lovely and cosy and the menu was very inviting. It is not only Italian, we had typical German dishes - goulash soup and schnitzels and the servings were generous and double delicious! It seems to be a family run restaurant and we could see that many of the patrons were local and well known to the owners. Best Goulash soup I have had in Germany. I would go back again if I were ever in Bergish Gladbach again ."

"After a bike tour through the forest, we wanted to leave it and well in the BIERGARTEN of the Diepeschrather mill. There was not much going on here on Pentecost. After studying the map, we knew why. Last year there were grilled sausages on which we had been happy (it was full of breaks). We had told extra friends about it, who made their way with us. No trace of BIERGARTEN-FEELING. On demand, we were told in a very arrogant way that one cannot turn off a (star?) cook. At the side table, salmon was ordered on rubbing cake. Since this portion was very manageable (but not prices) and it was charged. But instead of the horseradish listed on the map there was Remoulade. What a son and a gossip for the kitchen."

"Right large portions, tasty and visually well dressed, the operation pleasant, courteous, flashing, simply nice. The old-style restaurant, cozy with an astonishing outdoor terrace, beautiful medieval farmhouse and since 1884 owned by the Wermelskirchen family, this is something special! Have even surpassed Corona, which meant death for many gastronomics.We will visit the restaurant again though we come from Belgium."

"Return to see old colleagues and with a nice lunch this made an unforgettable day. the suppe was beautiful, followed by the geese that was paralyzed around the table) that was cooked to perfection, like the vegetable carnivals - while the chosen red was. delicious as the whole meal. the service was immaculate. a beautiful afternoon in a beautiful location."
