"From the outside, you don't know in any way what private sense of well-being you will receive! From greetings to adoption, the unrestricted, cordial attention is paid to the guest. Here you can spend your time! We had the Easter menu and had already been asked when booking whether this would correspond to our ideas. Greetings from the kitchen already aroused great anticipation for the further course of the evening. After a competent, very friendly wine advice, the fine Bärlauchsüppchen opened the culinary vinegar very finely elaborate flavors! This was then the cover of the South French biotomate on a parmese in nothing delicious! Also to our satisfaction the fine calfsroulade to Saltimboca Art in a wonderful asparagus Ragout. To crown the hot chocolate cake with the homemade vanilla ice cream. We were simply thrilled by the quality of food, the craftsmanship, the atmosphere and the wonderful service of the daughter-in-law of the house and their carefree assistance. If we are back in Bernkastel or the surrounding area, we will definitely visit “Roussel’s Restaurant”. A culinary, hospitable gem that will simply make a lot of pleasure and stay in memory for a long time. We say: Thanks for the wonderful Easter evening parking: parking right in front of the house"

"I have been visiting this area of Germany for about 12 or more years. This latest visit, however, was for my sister's birthday. I explained this when I paid the restaurant a visit to reserve a table. The next evening was a memorable occasion. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table by the ever so friendly and hospitable staff. After being offered a welcoming drink, we ordered some kirs while considering our orders. The meal was excellent. The presentation, the service, the setting, everything was perfect. It was a special occasion matched by the quality of service and fare. Thank you to all the staff at The Maximillian."
