"We tested this address for the first time (still two steps away from home) and we were conquered. The welcome is very nice and the pizzas are really good. We will taste the other pizzas of the map with haste."

"Perhaps not in the best part of elbeuf , my impression, Not knowledge, but delightful family run restaurant with charming hosts. Apparently 3rd generation after 70 years of the restaurant. The restaurant is over several rooms. 6 year old daughter adored it wide eyed at the table groaning and proclaimed it delicious. Sweet thoughtful touches, little nibbles etc the dessert for children on very reasonable 6 euro child menu is a haribo ice cream. Was nervous of the cocktails so had kir which was good, as was the wine, in reality having now experienced the rest I think was possibly an error. Daughter had a non alcoholic cocktail which came in a jar with a straw which was nice touch and it was good. Big brass pots of delicious broth and couscous served for the table with the platter of meat that you choose. Lots of good things to add to the couscous too. All fresh and good quality. Very reasonable prices and huge, huge portions. Is about 14 euros for 1 meat and increases by about 3 euros for each extra. Believe they do takeaway too. Could not eat anymore so did not try dessert but saw big handsome ice cream sundaes at the next table, mint tea was very good. The owners should be very proud, for its genre, is nearly perfect. We came here because I intended to go to another restaurant but I took one look at it from the outside and seeing the excellent french reviews for here changed and absolutely did not regret. I found it to be a memorable experience not just a meal. We ate on a damp Tuesday and it was fairly busy. I suspect weekends may need booking!"
