Anscheinend wird das Lokal überwiegend von Briten besucht die Küche entspricht eher dem britischen als dem deutschen oder französischen Geschmack. Die Portionen sind über groß. Fleisch wird in eigentlich geschmacklich nicht schlechten aber sehr fettigen Saucen ertränkt. Das gegrillte Steak aus gutem Fleisch lag in einer Rotwein Zwiebelsauce, die besser zu einem Boeuf Bourguignon gepasst hätte. Auch das Dessert war mächtig und sehr englisch, aber das ist letztlich Geschmackssache. Der Service war freundlich, aber teilweise atelhaft. Am Ende wollte ich eine Williams Birne trinken und bekam die Auskunft, man habe das nicht auch andere nachgefragte Sorten Framboise, Calvados,Cognac habe man nicht; man habe überhaupt keinen Schnaps. Als ich das für unmöglich hielt, kam der junge Anlern? Kellner nach kurzer Zeit wieder und berichtetete, er habe bei der Durchsicht der Réserve eine Flasche Calvados entdeckt. Schließlich brachte er einen 3/4 vollen Cognacschwenker mit Calvados viel zu viel . Schade. Der Preis war insgesamt in Ordnung für 2 Menüs Apéritif und 1 Flasche Wein etc. 107, €. Fazit: Preis in Ordnung, Lage gut, Portionen riesig, aber eher für Gourmands als für Gourmets."
