"The hotel restaurant was a little overly bright with yellow walls, yellow tablecloths, yellow napkins etc for a dining room it was a little overbearing. Service however was excellent, the staff really kind and explained in English if needed. The other tables seemed...to be filled with locals. Highly recommended to choose one of the menu's of the day. Our starter was seasonal mushrooms which were of the time, the main course we felt too oily. Dessert delicious chocolate mousse! Half bottles of wine available. So overall very good."

"We stopped here twice for lunch in this summer and appreciate it. beautiful terrace, although there is something a fly problem. salate, pizzas all excellent with local goat cheese and the wonderful huge bark tomato. try this dessert from the auberginen frais du brebis with red...fruits delicious. about 13euro for lunch. waitress helpful and jolly .always good to see someone enjoy what they do."

"We got our drinks fast enough, then waited for the food for 75 minutes before giving up. After about a half hour, delivering food to guests coming after us, the waitress gave apologetic shrugs as soon as I catched her eyes, but apparently didn't do anything about our lost order. After one hour I confronted her, and she said she would talk to the chef. After another 15 minutes without reaction, I stood up and told her that we didn't have time to wait and was about to leave.But the most archetypal French customer service was yet to come!The waitress finally brought the manager, who quite snidely remarked: "Oh, isn't that the problem of modern life, people not taking their time to enjoy a beautiful setting and just let time pass?".I'm not kidding. We had rented a car for one day, hoping to enjoy several picturesque villages and sceneries. Instead we were spending more than an hour getting desperately hungry at a table with no view over the gorge, and the only encouragement she could provide was that we ought to enjoy it! Not a word about the food being on its way, free drinks or anything. In hindsight, I can't believe that it took us so long to give up.So, yeah, this is my first one star review but it's very well deserved."
