"When we first arrived we were surprised at the emptiness of the spacious room; however, the lunch crowd soon arrived. My sister and I both had a cup of the chicken avgolemono soup and the phylo-wrapped chicken breast lunch. The soup was hot and tasty. In our opinion it could have had a little more lemon and more chicken broth. It was good though, and we both enjoyed it. The chicken breast was delicious and the hot flat bread was excellent. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the reasonable price. We'll go back for sure."

"Couldn't resist reviewing because this establishment deserves it! Visited on a busy Friday at 730pm, with a party of 4. Super full place, but we managed to get a spot. The hostess was prompt in receiving us and had set up a table, quickly tidying up a table that had recently vacated.Menus were given, and we didn't have to wait long to order drinks either. We ordered three calamari dinners and one lamb. Waitress was super nice (I'm so sorry I forgot her name very polite and efficient despite the crazy busy night they were having. The food arrived all together shortly after, and I was surprised. Presentation was great, Food tasted fresh, and the portions are very good. Calamari was nice and tender. My dad was impressed, and he is a very tough critic, even with customer service. The atmosphere was nice upon entry as well. I would highly recommend this place, and would love to come again. Too bad a ferry ride keeps me reasonably away ?."

"Their hours give us much flexibility for getting together for Dim Sum. 9 am to 3 pm daily. An added bonus is a 10% discount from 9 to 11 am. The staff are very welcoming. We usually make a reservation if there are more than four of us from 11 am on. That's when it starts to really get busy. Photos of the Dim Sum dishes accompany the diverse menu. Orders are marked on the menu and delivered to the table. Prices are reasonable for the good sized portions. There are many delicious choices for all tastes. The restaurant is quite spacious and located in an area with ample parking. From 3 pm to 10 pm the Asia Kitchen has a set dinner menu with 50 dishes - priced by orders of 2 to 6 dishes. There is no home delivery, but a 10% discount is allowed for pick-up orders."

"I hate to write bad reviews. I tend to overlook a lot of things and give people the benefit of the doubt, and I have never before walked out of a restaurant, but we did this time.I heard about the restaurant through a coupon offering and decided to try it out as I like to support local businesses whenever possible. I phoned one day to make a reservation and to inquire about their wine list as it wasn't posted online. I left a message, but got no call back. The next day, I tried again, with no luck, so I went online to Open Table, found the restaurant and made my reservation. When we arrived we were met by a very pleasant greeter and she asked if we had a reservation. I told her I had phoned but had no luck so booked it online. Unfortunately, her English skills were very limited so she went for the manager. (the restaurant was less than half full) I gave the manager our coupon and explained the situation again. The manager told me I had to cancel the Open Table reservation right away. When I asked why, she responded that it was only for 'regular' reservations and not 'coupon' reservations. (No mention of this on their web site, the coupon site nor Open Table). I explained that I had made in at home on my computer. She then asked me to be sure to cancel it as soon as I got home.We were seated at a table where there was only one place setting so she went away to get another and began to fold the napkin into a decorative shape. My partner said, "Oh don't bother, I am only going to unfold it right away." She was told, "No, I like to do this." (Not feeling to warm and fuzzy at this point but was determined to make the best of it.)It is fair to say that I am a wine geek and rather picky about quality. I have learned to take a bottle with me and pay corkage for those times I don't see anything suitable on the wine list. I checked out the wine list after scanning the menu and saw that there weren't many wines listed (perhaps 4-6 reds?). One was simply listed as Pinot Noir with no mention of the winery. The manager told me that it was one they changed around a lot, so I inquired if she could find out which one they were currently serving. She went away and came back with a name I was familiar with, but did not care for. OK, I thought, I'll change my mind on the dinner item and order the one wine that should be OK, only to be told that they were all out and in fact only had one red wine available - the low priced entry level wine. I was starting to feel I was in a real life version of the Monty Python Cheese Shop sketch. I fully understand that for many people as long as it is red and has alcohol in it, it is just fine and they wouldn't care. No problem, I'll just pay the corkage fee. However I was told that they don't do corkage. At this, it seemed best to call it a day and leave. Another wait staff came by to take our order, but I said we were going to leave. He was truly very sorry and very pleasant and I know that the circumstances were out of his control. I think that the manager needs to learn a little about what the word, 'hospitality' means. To be fair, we haven't tried the food, and maybe it is good, though the online reviews seem mixed at best."

"Go To place for fast and cheap for huge bowls of pho. Piping hot broth with double the meat of other pho restaurants. Additional bean sprouts, basil and lime wedge upon request. Incredible value for what you get"

"Took my mother here for her birthday dinner. They do a Lobster dinner combo with two dishes of your choice with rice and dessert and all for around $ 64. The black bean chicken along with the green beans and minced pork were very good and the dishes were big too. It doesn't say how many people the combo is good for but it is a lot of food for two people. The menu is quite large and has pictures too, although I was disappointed there isn't a drinks menu (either alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Going on a Sunday night, it was extremely busy and reservations are recommended particularly if you're a large party. Being very busy, the staff are rushed off their feet, so it can be difficult to get their attention.Value for money is pretty good and they accept plastic although you must spend upwards of $ 20-40 (before tax) if you want to pay that way. Keep some cash handy. Overall, the lobster combo was great value for money; you would struggle to find a restaurant to give you a whole lobster plus two large dishes for what I paid. Would recommend to those who like Chinese food and seafood."

"The re modelled place looks fresh, new, but still has a familiar feel to the place. We haven't been here for a couple of years only because we make decent pasta at home. The menu has expanded and features brick oven menu. The meals we ordered were very good, the wine was not priced over the moon...two of us with a beer and wine, dinners were happy with a $52 bill. The owner is involved and sincere in making this place just right...yes we will go again!"
