"We came to Chez Gaston for a cup of coffee and a quick bite to eat late morning. The place is stunning and has a really nice feeling to it but...and its a big but. The service is not what you would expect at such...a place. It started of with them having to see if there was room as we did not book...turned out that the place was not really busy but I suppose they are following protocol (unnecessary in my eye when its a big family and you are waiting at the entrance gate! . We ordered some coffee's, hot chocolates and 3 ham and cheese toasties and this must have taken around 20 odd minutes to have these served to us and when they were not a single one of our hot drinks was hot...we asked them about this and they said that it was due to their machine only being able to make two and a go...poor excuse as if this was the case they should have told us that they cant make 5 coffees and a hot chocolate in one go. Still the charm of the place is there and it certainly helps to make up for these simple things that they are missing out on. I's sure that they will soon have the staff up to scratch as they do aim to catch foreign tourists and they will demand the service and quality!"

"Excellent food!!! A super nice place, very good attention. We sit outside so we can have lunch together with our dog. We ask goat provoleta a delight!! Spectacular chorizo bife, ñoquis and meat empanadas a luxury."

"The host is absolutely wonderful, and the food was from this world. Ari is probably one of the best chefs I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and she's a pleasure to be around. She made my whole group laugh and she also made last minute adjustments when I made more people for dinner (sorry Ari! . I definitely come back to this restaurant."
