"What a great restaurant. All the glass the views out on Donegal Bay watching the activity on the beech. The food is extraordinary exactly as it says on the menus fresh local exciting. There is a fantastic team running it from the manager down, the staff could not have been more helpful polite lovely people to deal with nothing was too much for them. The food was amazing you can taste the freshness the sea the quality of the produce and everything we had was cooked to perfection, A 5 star experience. We will be back can’t wait."

"We were so impressed with the great food and service here. We were here on a busy Saturday night, and although it was very busy the staff were in control of everything and it didnt feel hectic. All the staff were lovely, but in particular the dark haired lady with glasses who I think may be the owner. She was so friendly, and lovely to deal with. The food was great. The menu has a nice variety of different things, and some lovely speciala. When we were leaving we booked in again for the following day, as the whole experience had been so good! Looking forward to going back tomorrow."

"We had an incredible meal at Cedars, we were so well looked after by Adrian, James and the rest of the staff. Amazing food, great service and atmosphere in a beautiful location. Highly recommended! I'm vegan and I've attached a pic of the vegan menu so great to have so many options to choose from! And I really recommend the vegan mushroom pappardelle, it was sooo delicious!"

"Food: very good, but not exceptional Appetizers: excellent scallops. Amazing potato soup Entrée/main dishes: the beef filet is beyond amazing, perfect in all aspects. The monkfish (catch of the day) was a disaster. ….. a fresh fish that is overcooked… rubbery and tasteless!!!! Deserts: the white chocolate pistachio cake is a masterpiece… truly an edible piece of art Drinks: I am a sommelier so I know what is good and what is not, they have an excellent wine by the glass… the Sauv blanc and Pinot noir are excellent choices Service: OK, this is NOT a fine dinning restaurant. Do not expect much Ambience/atmosphere: we sat in a booth in the back, perfect for nice romantic dinner Value: excellent food (mostly) fresh that match the high price Overall rating! 4 out of 5 Recommendations: I highly recommend it if you are staying at the hotel and relax for the night"
