"First time visitors from Nanaimo, French Creek and Victoria. This place is a keeper we all enjoyed the lunch and experience very much. Country, farm to table home cooked food just like when I grew up. I especially enjoyed my bratwurst, salad, fresh raspberry/rhubarb pie and crust. Presentation of food so nice. We also enjoyed meeting the owners/staff and scenery. Rhubarb was being picked as we were leaving. We will be back."

"We were staying in the area for a few days and were told of some nice places for dinner near by. So we drove down to Maple Bay and spottered the café' overlooking the marina. After parking the car, we entered, not just a restaurant, but a marine spectacle. the whole inside is varnished timber, light and airy with all manor of boat and marine bits and pieces, really well done. We were seated outside by our happy waitress who brought Jen and I out hot lemon water and a bottle of honey as we had both picked up colds. She did this from the goodness of her heart. We ordered dinner ( which was delicious) and simply sat back as the sun went down and looked at the boats and the pine covered mountains beyond. Go and enjoy"

"This is a gourmet restaurant with a limited daily menu based on local fresh food. The outdoor area is beautiful, with live entertainment from the farm cock and cat. While my salmon was delicious, the hero of the night was excellently cooked the accompanying vegetables and so tasteful. I had the olives delicious as a starter. My wife had the house bacon wrapped shrimps that were just as wonderful. This is a very special place."

"Enjoyed a great meal tonight after a long day working at a track meet. We were a of 10 And our server, Amy, couldn't have been better. We all had different meals which were all served together, nicely presented and very very tasty. Amy was helpful, very cheery and super efficient. We've been here before when in Duncan for other track meets and the food never disappoints."

"Found right downtown Duncan it is a fun place and a favorite. Nice place for dinner or late night out.Outdoor seating. There is very limited parking at the location but there are several parking lots within 1 to 2 blocks.There is an upstairs room if you want to book a quiet area. It can get noisey on the large main floor. Regular pub food is delicious."

"This is the best restaurant in Duncan. Always great service and incredible food and drinks. The deconstructed carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and ginger glace is to die for. Food presentation is always spectacular."
