"Since we “discovered” The Honu three years ago, we’ve made the tiki bar kind of a home away from home. The drinks are authentic tiki and extremely well made under the direction of bartender extraordinaire, Lisa. The food is excellent and reflects Chef Kim’s time on the Big Island. The entire staff is friendly and provides great service. We can’t recommend The Honu more highly."

"Really enjoyed our dinner. we had a nice eckish. my dad, who is hard to hear, had no hard time to hear us so that noise level was minimal. the food was great. nice portions. the personal was great. will be back. that was our 2nd visit."

"That was a Sunday experience for me. We sat at the bar and we were expected from Tammi and Claire R. The service was good as it made an excellent task to explain the details of some of the menu items. I always consume a lot of liquid when I use this type of lunch after the bike tour at 87° Weather and my mountain pasture was filled. I had the mushroom burger for lunch. Believe it or not, it actually has a little too much goat cheese and was a complete mess when you went to get it. While the mushrooms seemed rather a reflection than I like. I asked for an average temperature and the burger was definitely medium, went well, but not unbearable. Overall it was delicious, but I expect it for a $19 burger. The frits were perfectly cooked and seasoned with enough salt. This place has both indoor and outdoor areas, but not all exterior seats are in the shade. When we arrived, there were only full sun seats, which is why we decided to sit at the bar. The place is clean including the toilets and each smiles that worked there, which is a good sign."

"This place is the right offer; the atmosphere is connected to the first-class kitchen (especially fresh seafood). the waiting staff offers a good chess and more than a reasonable service. even the piano player walks around and takes questions. the sunset over the bay was perfectly possed with the end of our meal, which in the evening was spattered with a catahartic visual callout. dessert and coffee have added the proverbiale cherry above. this is a 5-star experience. highly recommended."

"Do not let them be fooled by what they see on main st. the back that really is the front entrance is on the other side. they have a huge parking lot. we were greeted by a friendly/smiling host, who put us in a big stand on the ground (we didn't even have to be asked to move there). our waiter freddie (see picture) was super, very friendly, answered several questions and did not rush us. he was great. the menu (see tge pic) is quite cool and eclectic they better love meat, although there are other options. I had the brisket fries and my wife had the glazed salmon salat. eating was very good. they have a huge bar with many options and also free. if they want something else, they try to get us back!"

"I enjoy coming to dinner here, but the breakfast was quite limited. the only vegan option to breakfast was gluten-free pancakes that were very meagely tasted, like cookies. the potatoes and the fruits were great. I would just recommend to stay in dinner options. the personal is very nice and very accommodating for vegans. I'll be back in a moment. updated from previous review to"
