"I have lived in the neighborhood fro years and avoided this place like the plague for a long time!They have renovated. in the last year service has done a 360 and they are pleasant and cordial. Old staff was cranky and whiny all the time. Food: is pretty good.Live music and dancing: super fun!Will be back!"

"Tokyo Kitchen is around the corner from our house and it is our go-to place for Japanese and sushi. It is very small and tucked underneath a parking garage so don't go if you are expecting a fancy dinner. The staff is all Japanese and most of the clientèle is Asian which is a good sign if you are looking for something authentic. They specialise in hot items such as don-buri, takoyaki, tempura and everything is excellent. The portions are not huge but that is the way it should be eaten if you were transported to Japan. The sushi is also extremely fresh and very tasty. Be aware that there is no bathroom in the restaurant, they will give you a key to the public washroom in the Parking Garage which is a bit awkward and kind of gross. You may also come out smelling like grease as they fry a lot of food and every time we have gone we have to wash our clothes. Well worth it though for the quality of the food. Very reasonable prices too. Service is very good but they usually only have 2 people working as it is a small staff, so you may have to flag them down should you need anything."

"We had lunch reservations during the Christmas market. First clue should have been it was pretty empty on the last Saturday of the market. Food was ok but pricey for the portions agnolotti-come on Very limited menu selection but the worst was the very...poor service. of us for lunch took forever to get our meals (as mentioned it wasn't even full) or have anyone ask if we wanted a drink refill, not even some bread on the table while we waited. When our meals finally did arrive only meals were served while we waited for the rest of our party's food to arrive which is completely unacceptable not sure where our waitress ran off to as she didn't serve any of the meals and possibly the worst insult is how our waitress and manager? came and kissed up after we finished our meal...a little too late in our opinion...won't be returning!"
