"Unassuming restaurant, run by a local butcher, that serves HUGE good quality horse and beef steaks that you cook to your taste on a piping-hot stone brought to your table, accompanied by immense portions of side-dishes.Do not expect any signs of haute cuisine here, anything beyond the meat portions might be a slight disappointment, including meat sauces, salads and desserts. For once, don't bring your vegetarian friends with you, there's simply no Plan B in the menu. Very nice local German-speaking crew, that runs the place with Swiss efficiency and delivers fast service (a little too fast sometimes) . Count around 50 Swiss Francs per head, which in this part of the world is on the cheap side of things. Place is permanently full of local parties, CLOSED on Sundays and Mondays, and reservation is an absolute must.As there's a lot of hot stuff on your table (they also serve an all-you-can-eat horse fondue bourguignonne) I don't think it's a good idea to bring young kids with you. As lot of grilling happens in the dining room and at your table, you'll leave the place with a distinctive smell all over, so don't bring your expensive sweater and leave your jacket and scarf in the car."
