"This bistro is tucked away in the pleasant neighbourhood of Wiehre. The daily lunch menu is an ample portion of your choice of two vegetarian dishes with soup or salad as a side dish. Today we had spinach lasagne and lentil shepherd's pie with sweet...potato soup both delicious combinations! It's a popular spot for the locals, and the cook and her staff serve the lunch crowd quickly and efficiently, exchanging comments in English, French or German. The tasty dishes, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff keep us coming back"

"We went to Kartoffelhaus on a summer evening, which allowed us to sit outside, which I would definitely recommend, as the inside of the restaurant is not very pretty. Contrary to some of the reviews here, we were met with excellent service, friendly waiters and...our food arrived quite fast, even though the restaurant was packed. The food is a little too pricy for what it‘s worth, even though it was very tasty."

"Beer garden weather! Live outside! Where can we live this South German basic requirement in Freiburg in a stylistic manner? Within city boundaries is difficult. Festling has a beautiful garden in the pedestrian zone, but no spicy beer. The chestnut garden at Schlossberg is sensational but culinaryly friendly expressed minimalist. The deer garden in Lehen would be perfect, but too expensive. In addition, the penguin-loaded controls do not allow mood. Actually, it was in Green City.
