"I took a chance on this, i thought it would be a good deal as there were a lot of Portuguese people. Wrong, its the most expensive piri piri chicken i ever had, it was tiny, tasted good but not worth it. I paid 14...for the tiny chicken, chips (they were good) tomato salad a small beer. They charge 1.50 for the bread basket 70cent (outrageous) each for the tiny butter, olives, sardine paste cheese spread (4.30 you can tell them you dont want them. It was a sunday but was so noisy, i will not be going back as i know a place in Guia where you can eat a whole meal for 7 (soup, starter, main, dessert glass of wine)"

"Hoje almoçamos neste restaurante, já a horas tardias, e estava tudo óptimo. Desde o prato do dia ao hambúrguer do menu de criança, cuja carne era de boa qualidade. O atendimento foi excelente. A simpatia e a atenção que nos foi dada é de salientar. Ambiente simpático e acolhedor. Outro aspecto a salientar, que raramente merece elogio, é a limpeza e o aspecto cuidado do WC."

"This is a tourist trap, pure and simple. It's huge, with a lot of staff, and the aim is to serve the piri-piri chicken as fast as they can and turn the tables. Not content with one TV blaring out football, they have two, showing...different matches grim! The best piri-piri chicken tastes of the BBQ and chilli, but at Ramires it was just very hot (which I don't mind) with no BBQ hints at all. If it's piri-piri chicken you want, try O Churrasco instead unpretentious but better food"

"This restaurant reopened in June going back under the control of the original family , having known the restaurant over years I am so pleased that it is now up running as I remember, the food service was excellent as you...would expect , they are now busier than ever but for very good reason , the Peri Peri chicken is the best I have tasted also the pork fillets are very good the desserts are home made lovely . Nunes is not an expensive place to eat either for lunch or dinner , I would recommend that you book a table as you could be disappointed owing to its popularity, it is situated on the road to Algoz from Guia only about mile from the en , go give yourself a treat visit this lovely restaurant"

"Ideal has improved over the past few years but again seems to be letting itself down at lunchtime. The food remains excellent but having just had lunch, the service was poor. Not the fault of the waiter who was running himself off his feet, but...that of the owner. There were probably people in for lunch and just one waiter, impossible task. It is a good place to eat but the staff levels need to improve"
