"Thanksgiving day. Everything went really well. Food was very tasty and the portions were large. No complaints on food, wait staff, food service or ambiance. I would choose to return, for sure. One negative: I made reservations around 1 month ago. 3 women- 2 in 50s, 1 in 20s. When we arrived there were several hostesses at check in area. First we were asked if we wanted to sit at high-top in bar. We said “no.” After hostesses had more discussion, we were led thru an enclosed area past a table of 30 (noisy) to a small, dark table right outside kitchen area. I asked to sit elsewhere. After more hostess discussion, we were finally led to a booth in main dining area. Great! This is what I wanted to begin with. Several tables in this area were open. Why weren’t we given the table to begin with? I’ve noticed when I’ve dined without a man, I’m sometimes offered a sub-par situation. Since it’s happened before, I can only assume better tables are reserved for parties where a male is present. This is totally unacceptable. For the record, the bill for the 3 of us including tax/tip was well over $200. And, no, it wasn’t because restaurant was trying to balance wait staff with tables. Our service and waitress was great throughout the meal. Just a reminder to women who are dining without a male- speak up! If something isn’t right, say so!!!"
