"Amazing food! Ordnete palm hearts salad and one of the fish soups and really enjoyed my food! The service was very pleasant and attentive and the food quickly came out what was great as I was really hungry! Great taste, very nicely seasoned and quite large portions!"

"I went here a few years ago and the food seemed bland to me. My friend in Iquitos told me the food has gotten better so I gave it another try. The day I went, the meal of the day was spinach soup, and then the main plate with Locro de Zapallo, white rice and green lentils. The main plate was pretty good, but the soup was weak and had little flavor. They don't add a lot of salt to things, but they bring a little dish of salt to the table (actually I think it's potassium chloride and not sodium chloride). As of February 2022, the meal of the day costs 25 soles (the highest price I've seen in Peru for a meal-of-the-day). I would give them 4 cows for the overall good food on the day I went . The price is just too high for what you get, but with a lack of competition, I guess they get away with it. "We were given two recommendations from the staff at our hotel. We chose this one for the air conditioning. We were quite comfortable. They had a fair number of other tables, but the service was fast. Cocktails were excellent we had whatever Pisco drinks the waiter recommended. The food was quite good with nice presentation. Only snag was having to wait while the waiter went across the street to be able to make change when we paid."

"I normally do not write a review but this restaurant worth it. We stayed in Iquitos 3 days in September and were looking for a restaurant to have dinner, on Saturday the restaurant was empty comparing to the others in the Malecon, so we decided not to enter... (we thought an empty restaurant is not a good sign) On Sunday we went again to the Malecon looking for a restaurant and there were 3 persons in this restaurant, we checked the menu and decided to try. Since our arrival the owner, and old Man, was very friendly and explained us every detail of the menu. We followed his recommandations and were really surprised for the quality and freshness of the food. The best food we have eaten in Iquitos during the 3 days we expended there, we wanted to continue enjoying the good situation and asked for a dessert but unfortunately the waiter told us they dont have. So we went to the ice cream shop not far from there. We hardly recommend this restaurant, service and food are excellent and not think because is empty is not good."
