"With representation, ambience and service you try to get the impression of an upscale kitchen. Unfortunately, the Poseidon doesn't get it on the plate. In the end, the faded snack will have paid too much for an hour of moderate food. We didn't order dessert anymore. The service was friendly, competent and accommodating. Although it hurts, the brewery, in which I was a few days before, has created a better result for lengths with its bourgeois cuisine and asparagus from the region and also good, suitable, grounded wines on offer. The invoice was about €20.00 less for similar orders. Unfortunately, the Poseidon could not convince us."

"Very attractive website, nice location, friendly and dynamic staff presents you a menue that also promises a lot listing top ingredients and detailed cooking process for several pizzas, pasta dishes and other Italian basic offers. Portions are big, very big but my raviolis were not...good at all.Seems me more recommendable to limit your choice to pizzas. Only a poor house wine per glass. Homemade tiramisu was also nothing to remember."

"Wir sind öfter Im Rittergut Birkhof essen, insbesondere wenn wir keine Lust zum kochen haben. Man braucht - fast nie - eine Reservierung. Wenn man Lust und Appetit auf ein Wiener Schnitzel (nicht Schnitzel nach Wiener Art - also mit Kalbfleisch) oder Rumpsteak mit Pommes hat, ist man hier richtig. Die Gerichte werden sehr schlicht - ohne Schnickschnack - zubereitet, schmecken aber immer. Man muss auch nie auf das Essen lange warten. Einziges Manko - die Karte ist seit Jahren unverändert. Manchmal gibt es eine Tageskarte - zum Beispiel zur Spargelsaision - aber oft auch nicht. Die Salate waren schon besser - auch hier wäre eine andere Auswahl eine willkommene Abwechslung. Nudelgerichte kann ich nicht empfehlen - diese werden zum Teil mit zu viel Öl zubereitet. Das Restaurant ist auch für größere Gesellschaften geeignet."
