"We visited today for lunch (oktober, where again the same waiter was absolutely fabulous. eating was fantastic, especially the seasonal pumpkin soup starter. the desert was very different with a selection of products, all tasty but great to have the choice and variety....Everything recommended in all to visit guests in the Vendee/Deux sevres regions. we'll be back soon."

"Often passed this restaurant but had not eaten there since a change in proprietor. Called in one Friday lunchtime shortly after noon and were welcomed warmly and seated quickly. The room soon filled up with diners. Although the full menu was available we had the plat du jour at 19.50 euros for 3 courses including coffee. Entrée was home smoked salmon salad, main was pheasant with a good selection of seasonal vegetables perfectly cooked and a dessert of cooked pineapple with a thick sauce and ice cream. The meal was delicious and lived up to the Maitre Restaurateur label. The owners were very attentive and efficient and hoped we would return one weekend when the full menu was more refined including foie gras and coquilles St Jacques. We will return !"
