"Little restaurant discovered by chance and it was a nice surprise. The kitchen is very good, inventive and made of fresh products. In addition, the terrace is very pretty, in the shade of a large mulberry tree. I recommend without hesitation."

"It was very average. Camping restaurant decor. Servers responding arrogantly. Lousy cocktail drowned in ice cubes. Appetizer: pizza crusts from the day before?! Ultra soft mozzarella: not soft at all. Veal with tuna mayo, that says it all. Pork throat forgotten in the gnocchi, so a super bland dish. I don't like pizzas with 2 cm of bread dough. An incipid 4 cheeses. The wine was very good. We didn't have dessert until we saw the faces they had. Blah blah evening for €50 per person without dessert. For ever."

"The pizza tonno had not much tonno, and it had to go back because the pasta carbonara arrived much later. The pasta was oke. We had a hasty waiter, no appology for the return of the pizza. Not a recommender."

"This is undoubtedly the best restaurant in the whole of Provence. The food is amazing, the hosts Karine and Philippe could not be more welcoming and the restaurant setting is beautiful. Myself and my husband, Chris loved this restaurant so much we ate here every night that the restaurant was open during our 2 week stay in La Roque last September and are returning again this September for another 2 week holiday and will definitely be dining here lots again. We highly recommend it... you must try it if you are living or staying in the area."

"On our way from Pont D'Arc to Avignon my wife and I spotted a beautiful medieval village on the way to Avignon and decided to check it out, Roque sur Ceze and it was nice. We decided to have lunch at this nice quiet place...by the river. We have not had a better lunch after days in Europe. See Jimfromjacksonhole's review from June It was the same meal and I concur that it was the best ratatouille I've ever had. Made me want to watch the cartoon movie ratatouille again it was so good. Lopped up every drop with bread. But the rest of the plate; grilled chicken breast, roasted potatoes, salad, red ripe tomatoes, and a terrine as well as a great slice of cheese. Gets my vote for best country lunch in France and very reasonably priced as well."
