"This restaurant was located within the main lodge of Chalet du le Fjord. Great selection of entrees at slightly above average prices, but the food and ambiance was excellent. Service was also good, although French was only spoken so communication was a little challenging. Would go back again if in the area."

"There are threee restaurants in L’Anse Saint Jean: one was closed, one was full, our last hope was the Café du quai. There was no room, reservations were full. « What about a take out » I asked, desperate. « Oh, yes, sure, and if you eat at...the quai, I can give it to you in real plates. But wait, is the picnic table outside by the street empty ? I can bring your order, on plates and with real glasses down there ». This picnic table is not on the restaurant property but it was empty, so we had dinner there. And it was excellent, althought a little meaty for my taste. The soup was delicious, the local beer was fine, the crepe was generous and the desert and tea were quite satisfying. The service nedless to say was amazing."
