"Le Chambon a town of 2600 approximately I arrived at 12.25pm Monday 21 July 2014 stayed just over one hour. Small restaurant with five tables of four people and two tables of two. The chefs husband spoke perfect English and you feel at home.I had for lunch a cannelloni which is one of my favourite meals the contents are in French and it reads:Cannelloni aux lentilles du Puyet et jambon cru, gratines au four. One of the best cannellonis I have eaten, compared to the ones you buy in the chain stores which are awful.The cost was 11.00 Euros and a large portion and was freshly cooked with ingredients of the region. I was too full to experience a dessert.The method of presentation made the meal very appetising. I had a soft drink and coffee, total 16.20 Euros plus service. The restaurant has a nice menu and I experienced a relaxing meal."

"Après une longue route rien de tel qu'un arrêt dans un endroit agréable et léger...l'épicurien a répondu à mes attentes avec un repas alliant légèreté et gourmandise. J'ai aimé les proportions généreuses de l'assiette et les produits frais de la salade. J'ai adoré le rond de veau sauce morilles (avec de vrais morilles, quel plaisir ! ), sans parler du risotto au parmesan (un délice !). Pour le dessert, en raison de la chaleur, je souhaitais un dessert à base de fruits. Pas de chance pour moi, le seul dessert est à a base de faisselle et fruits rouges (je ne suis pas très fan de ce fromage). La serveuse, très arrangeante, m'a préparée une coupe de fruits rouges et de pêches absolument délicieuse qui a répondu à mon besoin de fraicheur et de légèreté gourmande. Service agréable et chaleureux, j'ai passé un super moment. Rien à dire, allez-y les yeux fermés ! À noter, les prix, parfois critiqués dans d'autres commentaires, m'ont paru parfaitement justifiés. Très commerçants, j'ai eu l'agréable surprise de voir mon café offert. Merci beaucoup."
