"The pandemic really gave Kenko an opportunity. They closed their doors to the public and decided on this no-contact, app-based business model. You are only allowed to order online via their app, and you better do it quick because when you have the app it daily pops up with notifications at 4:45PM that they have maxed out orders for the day They literally print money there with so many orders they don't even need to suck up to patrons or even speak to them, kitchen closes at like 8:01PM and they head off home. The app does not distinguish whether they are open or closed, so you can get the whole way through ordering a meal and then find out at the pickup time selection point that they have randomly decided to close. The sushi is good value when you can actually get it, but it was better value before they removed multiple options from their menu (pandemic excuse again). You used to be able to mix special and regular rolls in a deal with miso soup no longer. They used to give you half a free roll with your order, but recently that was changed to a portion of seaweed and crab salad. It's nice, but I can't get past the frustration of struggling to order every time."

"This was my first time here, I phoned in, and Jessica was very knowledgeable and friendly! She gave me and amount for additions I made to their seafood platter! I added an additional two (2) pieces of Cod! My total $16.42 very reasonable I might add! Jessica said my food would be ready in 20min. I went into the restaurant 15 minutes later to l??k around! The Restraunt was Very Clean and customers seemed to be satisfied, no commotion, people seem to be well served! Now the owner Mo was inquisitive because I was taking pictures with my phone, after I introduced myself and told how impressed I was with Jessica, I received his approval! For the record Jessica was Great on the phone! My order was delivered as ordered on time! Great Job Jessica! Now I Critique the F??D! The Cod fish ? ? ? was G??D, the French Fries were Delicious, the Battered Shrimp (3) ? ? ? were G??D, the fried clams were a little too fried (but not bad) crispy! Over All I was Very Pleased with my meal, especially for how reasonable the price of the dinner was! I would definitely recommend Keko?s Coney Island the staff made me and it looks like all the people in their Restaurant Happy! Oh they also have a large paved parking lot! Everything is wheelchair accessible! Enjoy Dining at Keko?s Coney Island Restaurant, I sure did! Just tried the Cat Fish ? dinner, I ordered an additional two (2) pieces of Cat Fish ? ? with the normal dinner! The Cat Fish was tasty and as always the French Fries were Great! The Clam Chowder was pretty good also! ????"
