"Taste buds blown away by wafu ramen. At first I thought it tasted weird because it had this "fishy" taste but after a few more slurps I was hooked by its unique taste. The base is a mix of pork, beef and fish broths that works perfectly with each other. This is now on my top ramen place here in makati!"

"I just had to make a quick stop at Yardstick, a third wave coffee house that has won the hearts of many, not just Makati workers and residents. I am seldom in the area because of its high density which always causes traffic chaos. <br> <br> The place is very spacious, high ceiling with a modern industrial look. Few places in the area could also remind you of a warehouse. Interestingly, the waiters wear casual clothes like regular customers, which might confuse this part. I was when a stranger helped me out of the blue. <br> <br> My friend and I shared 9 ounces. Cafe latte with two teaspoons of muscovado sugar. Their beans were strikingly strong and their natural sweetness still felt very strong. My valid complaint here was temperature. It was pretty cold. Oh and they only have whole milk, what a shame. <br> <br> The purple yam waffle was pretty shocking. The look was pretty instagramable, but its waffle looked nothing like what I was expecting. I thought they'll serve me purple yummy ... <a class="read-more" href="#"> read more </a>"

"Waroeng Coffee is a newly opened coffee shop inside The Collective at Malugay Street, Makati. They serve Asian (Indonesian-Malaysian) cuisine. Mostly are snacks, but there are a few rice meals too The interior is quite simple. I think there are around 6-8 tables, including those outside for customers who smoke I ordered Kaya Toast. This is a popular breakfast toast in Malaysia Singapore. Waroeng's version tasted good. I was given with a huge toast in delicious buttery taste and coconut jam. I paired it with regular-sized Capuccino coffee that was also good. I found the latte art simple but cute I could've given this café a 5, BUT the place was swarmed by HUGE FLIES during my...read more"

"So far, Hitsumabushi in Nagoya is the second best meal I've had in Japan and I'm so glad I found it in Manila! Hitsumabushi basically eats unagi rice in "4" ways but first divides it into quadrants and then enjoys it - (1) as it is; (2) with the spices of spring onions, wasabi, sesame seeds and nori; (3) with spices and broth; (4) back to your favorite. My favorite is actually between 2 and 3, I just don't add that much broth. The taste is amazing ???????? Make a special request to have their excellent eel instead of the fine one (what's on the menu). <br> <br> Of course the one I had in Nagoya is way better than this one, but I was still glad because they did well. The 'Excellent Eel' is definitely a better choice, the portion was good too, and the quality of the wasabi was great. Highly recommend you come here and eat this instead of the plain unagi rice. Make sure you get the Excellent Eel as the Fine Eel as the price difference is not very big for the quality. The price is a little high, but it's unagi and it may be your only chance to experience Hitsumabushi. <br> <br> IG: FOODINSQUARESPH <br> <br> Not sure about the eel bones starter, nothing special so I would suggest you skip it. <br> <br> This place is getting more and more popular, so come on soon!"

"This is one of my secret hideouts that I love to visit when I'm stressed out and had enough people-ing in a day or week. I love how quiet it gets around late afternoon. My favorite spot is the table by the window because from there, I can watch cars drive by along Ayala Avenue while sipping a cup of their very comforting Philippine hot chocolate! They serve rice meals here but (sadly) I'm not really a big fan of Filipino dishes but I really dig their Malunggay Pesto which is SO budget-friendly! I'm obsessed with pesto and though I can have it at different places, so far, I think this is the only place that uses malunggay for pasta around my area. Another thing that lures me back to...read more"

"Wine has proven to be very beneficial to everyone, from the several health benefits it is attributed to, to its essence in the culinary world. "Just got home and I couldn’t wait to write a review after our wonderful night here. Friendly staffs. The service is superb and very attentive not once we needed to call the waiters only when we asked for our bill. They attended to us immediately and almost just watching if they need to pour Moscato in our glasses. Food is great! We had the set Menu and it’s a 4-Course Meal with Sorbet. Definitely coming back and will try other food. Keep up the good work and good ambiance the way it is"

"I bought a buy one take one discount voucher for Tony Roma's rib dish a few weeks back and went to have lunch together with my daughter there yesterday. The meal comes with coleslaw choice of side dish. We chose corn fries for ours Quantity : It is a bones minimum ribs so it is enough for a very hungry man Quality Taste : The meat is fall-off-the-bone tender except for some overcooked outer parts. The BBQ flavor is just right. You need to eat the inner parts of the meat together with the outer if you want the BBQ flavor since the inner parts were devoid of any flavoring. The corn was ok but would have preferred the ones with kernels that has softer and thinner...read more"
