"Most Japanese restaurants in manzanillo smooth the sushi in mayo. Why? I have no idea. although not really a real Japanese restauant, the other Asian dishes. Thai, Indonesian etc. are not so great. some of the fusion food is interesting and creative....Dessert sushi! yes, it was really good. it's worth trying to feel like something else,"

"We had seen this restaurant as we walked along the pier earlier in the week. My husband decided he wanted to have his birthday dinner here so we made reservations (which we did not need). When we arrived they had put Happy Birthday on our...table with small little pink flowers. It was so lovely. My girlfriend and I ordered the short ribs. NOT like in the US. Thin piece of meat rather tough, but live and learn. Next time I will know. Everyone else raved about the food. The service was a bit slow, but my husband does not liked to be rushed so it was fine with us. We enjoyed the beauty of the ocean while having great conversation with our best friends."

"I came to the breakfast after the restaurant was opened this morning. I sat at a table with a phenomenal view of the sea. the service was impeccable. I ordered a mushroom, speck and queso omelette. the food was not disappointing, omelette was perfectly cooked, the. ingredients were fresh, the little beside salad that came with him was very lightly dressed with a balsamico vinaigrette, and fresh tomato, it was so delicious I ordered to take one with me so that I could have lunch. my omelette, with a small salad, friijoles, chips and salsa, fresh brot and coffee with milk, and a beside salad for me to take home, along with an additional coffee was about 150 pesos. highly recommended, the food, the service and the view!"

"We visit Vito's on a regular basis. My favourite is the calzone. If you prefer other ingredients they are happy to make it. Mine is pepperoni and pineapple - spicy pepperoni with the sweet pineapple ... to die for!! The pizza is also very good. Leave room for some gelato!!! Rosamelia imported the machine from Italy and it's simply the best. The hardest part is making a decision on which flavour to have. Rosamelia is a huge lover of dogs and is thinking of making a special gelato for the fur babies. Mine loves the vanilla!!There are 4 gelato locations in Manzanillo so finding one close by should be easy."

"This is by far the best place to get carnitas in Manzanillo. If you like good pulled pork, this is the place to go. Diego and his family take great pride in serving a quality meal. After marinating the meat in a family-secret marinade, they then slow-roast it to perfection. And the freshly prepared salsa is delish. Don't forget to have the jericalla (homemade creme brule) for dessert."
