"My wife and I went to BJ last year and were very impressed-- good food, good service, maybe a bit expensive, but taste and quality of the entrees was great, so no deal breaker. We went back this week and it was another experience. Our waitress disappeared several times and took a while to take order, then was a long time before our food came. We ordered Dessert to go as it was $3 Pizookie night, and it took a remarkably long time to get our To-go order and check again. In fact, another waiter took care of us, brought food and then the check out. We asked him if we could give him the tip to identify and cover our situation, but he laughed and said he didn't worry that he was basically silly to help the other staff. I should mention that there are 3-4 tables filled (not counting the bar that their own waiting staff) and at least 2-3 waiters on the restaurant side, so not sure what was going on. A very slow night, so. What should have been an hour of meal with a togo dessert took two hours. I ordered an Asian peanut chicken with noodles and while the taste was brilliant, the part was extremely small. It had about half a chicken breast, cubed, about a 1/4 cup of broccoli flakes and maybe a cup of noodles. Served in a flat soup bowl, it hardly covered the floor. I asked the waiter who broke it out when it was the midday portion, and he smiled and apologised and said they got so much with this article. I felt like I had an appetizer and my stomach was waiting for the meal to get down. All in all, no pleasant evening as in the past in this restaurant. My wife had a shrimp with quinoa and cauliflower and liked it. Her part was normal too large, so not sure why I was cheated with a child-sized amount of an otherwise wonderfully flavored plate."

"Family friendly place. Eat up to the expectations of the chain restaurant and others I visited throughout the country. We sat fast with our big party with children. The tables must be repainted as they peel. The bathrooms were fairly clean except to build the soap under the dispenser and the baby changing table needs attention in the cracks. The food was good and hot. The steak was very tasteful. They cooked our steaks a bit more rare, but they could send it back to the grill for a flash. It was perfect. The flowering onion is as you would expect, and the fried mushrooms did not last long. Both appetizers come with a heavy part. The carrot cake had more a refrigerator taste than I expected. The cheese cake was good and vanilla ice cream was very tasteful. Child friendliness: Leave back, loops for car seats, high chairs, children's menu with meals and juices. Parking: Many parking spaces around the building with walking paths to the entrance."

"We waited a short time for a table because there was no urgency at the host booth. Our server was nice and friendly, but it wasn't the fastest. My first rollup had a hair in it. The second was rolled in a dirty leash. Spoke with the manager, and he got me a clean set so I could just eat. The appetizer Combo was 't the best since the skin was completely overcooked and dry, and it was just a shortage of appetizer in general and then a fly flew into the sauce and then simply cooled there on the plate. She asked if we were done, and we advised her that we didn't want to look at the fly and removed the plate. I hacked the Road Kill Steak, not knowing that it is now differently prepared than years ago. Fortunately, I got a real steak for dinner against a Hamburgerpatty. My friend even made the comment, why do you have such terrible luck? If the manager hadn't been on the ground, I'm not sure that any of my problems had been resolved as quickly as they were. If you spend money to eat after a nine-hour shift, mediocre food and service are not on my list. I haven't eaten in the roadhouse for years, and unfortunately I doubt I will ever return."

"Great place for Tex-mex food. We got there maybe an hour and a half before closing and you could tell they had been very busy, the hostess told us it would be 30 min to get a table but it took maybe 10 min since a lot of people were leaving when we got there, they do have a sign saying they are short staffed so I was was expecting them to take longer taking our order and bringing our food but they did not! We went to the bar for a drink while we waited, the bar tender looked like he was ready to go but he gave us our drinks fast and they were very good. Once we got to the table our server was very attentive and friendly, our food came out fast and was delicious. We really enjoyed their salsa sampler. We ordered dessert to go, the sopapillas were soooo good but their cake balls were even better!"

"Came to do a DoorDash order and they took 20 minutes to even answer the speaker after I went to a second one. Then just for them to tell me they didn’t have the order. The owner and general manager should be ashamed they allow such an establishment to run. Not that it’ll be running for a long time with this current setup."
