"Located on the second floor of an apartment building, this cozy restaurant is an apartment turned into a public restaurant (from my table I had a view of the hallway and saw people coming home with groceries and such). The server was kind and thoughtful. I didn't speak a work of Spanish and the server (who I took to be the owner) was patient with me. I let her know I was vegan (via google translator) and she pointed out the vegan friendly dishes (and there were quite a few). As it was my first meal in the city (from Canada), I immediately went for the tacos. There were at least three or four other vegan options that she pointed out (in Spanish), but I couldn't tell what they were from the menu. The food was decent. Slightly bland. It's a set menu with salad, soup, entree, and dessert for 75 pesos. It's a place to go in a pinch and I'd likely go back eventually for a quick meal. My suggestion though is to keep your expectations low. I would give three stars for the cheap price, friendly service, and the cozy atmosphere."

"Great place! what makes this place brilliant is the atmosphere and the ambiente. the food is good and they have some delicious items on the menu. the bottom for the 4 stars over 5 start is that the service is not 100% customer concentrated and not the typical service they get in mexiko. the service is a little chaotic, everywhere and the customer is not their priority pro say. probably comes with their popularity, which was a little annoying and stood the fish. but it's cool to go for a drink anyway. they could definitely be much better on the service and more customer-centred/ attentive. that sounds strange, but the volcán de queso dessert was spectacular! I recommend it very much!"

"I attended a tasting with seven courses. It most have taken many hours to prepare all the amazing food. Each dish was decorated with care and prepared with unusual ingredients like flowers, nitrogen-frozen popcorn, etc. A big plus- the whole thing was about $27 USD!! Bring all your friends or your date to order many dishes!"

"Three course fixed price menu with fresh apple juice was delicious and filling. The setting is simple (as are many Mexican restaurants) but comfortable (equal amount of chairs and floor cushions). Price was reasonable, 250 pesos for two. I wish we would have found this place at the beginning of our stay in Mexico City. The over-all experience was very calming and rejuvenating."

"I've been here about five times and everything I've ordered has been delicious. Affordable prices and big portions, plus it opens at 10 AM which is a lot earlier than most other vegan places in town. Sauces and seasonings all exceptional. Not a place you'll regret checking out."
