"We have been loyal customer of Sushi-Ya for years, it was always the best sushi in town, but lately, it 's gone completely downhill. We know businesses are having a hard time with the pandemic and this place has been over run with takeout orders, but they 've learned nothing in the months we have all been dealing with this pandemic. Everyone can have a bad day, and we give all places the benefit of that doubt, but these remarks are based on several visits over the past few months. When you call, it can take 2 or 3 times to get through. The phone will ring 20 times or so, then just disconnect. Then, the pick up experience is deplorable. The last 4 or 5 times we have picked it up, it 's the same story. You will arrive and there will be 5 or 6 people waiting for their pick up. They will ask the first person for their name, then they will not proceed past the first person until they have their order and have left. Then they go to the next person and repeat. So, if you are like me and order 45 minutes ahead to ensure it 's ready when you pick it up, you will arrive and have to wait as they fulfill the orders of the people in front of you who ordered 20 minutes ago. They don 't fill and take payment based on when you ordered and if your order is ready, the do it based on the order you arrive at the restaurant. In the mean time, your order just sits on the counter getting warm while they do that. The last time I was there, I found my order sitting on a table and just put cash there and left, I didn 't wait for the change as I 'd already been standing there for 15 minutes without anyone asking me for my name. Even though I have ordered in some cases 1 hour ahead of time, it ' 's not uncommon to wait 20 to 30 minutes to be asked what your order is and pay for it. Add to this that the quality of the sashimi has gone down hill considerably in the last year or so and this place is no longer somewhere we would recommend. We always order a large sashimi assortment with our orders and the quality of the tuna and salmon has fallen considerably. Recently, we ordered a sashimi mix and got almost all salmon, I guess they were running low on tuna. It 's important to note the decline was noticeable well before COVID hit. I think they changed owners about a year or so ago as all the staff, including the sushi chefs, are different. There was a marked decline in the quality of the sushi when that happened. A real shame as this was by far the best sushi place in Milton (and all around the GTA for that matter), but not anymore. As others have mention, the service here is terrible. If you go, make sure you have a lot of time on your hands. When you eventually get your food, and if it 's a good day, they are second to none. Unfortunately, they don 't get it right very often anymore. As the patio season comes to an end and there is even more pressure on takeout, I can only imagine how bad it 's going get. They have lost our business."

"Terrible customer service! Food arrived with item missing, after what felt like a negotiation with the manager they said they would re-deliver the item. After an hour wait it never showed."

"Not only is it vegan but very health oriented as you can see from the description. I had the Pizza a smoothie and a almond cookie, they all blew me away, very delicious and so happy to have such a great place to eat in Milton. Looking forward to going back and trying out the other options on the menu."

"My partner and I love Indian food and we’ve tried all the options in Milton, Bombay is hands down the best one. They are very friendly and will accommodate any dietary need happily. Their Chana Masala is really good! Highly recommend."

"My wife and I decided to visit Castle after having dinner close by as we had a hankering for some sheesha. The atmosphere there doesn't come off as the cleanest but the staff is great (though when we went they were a little short staffed). We didn't try anything off the menu, but they did have a nice selection of juices."

"Of the chain pizza joints that dot the GTA and most major cities across North America, Pizza Hut held a distinct spot amongst the pizza heavyweights because of their distinct greasy pies and the fact that they used to be their own stand-alone restaurants (you remember those Pizza Hut restos with the distinct red tin roofs? . The chain has undergone a massive makeover in recent years and gone are the red roof restaurants. Well perhaps not entirely disappeared, but certainly not as many as existed before. There was one in Meadowvale in the Battleford Plaza that I used to frequent as a high schooler just for the all you can eat buffet where customers could carb load on garlic bread sticks and as many slices as you could shove into your mouth as we as a salad and pasta bar. But alas, this no longer exists and most Pizza Hut franchises have been relegated to exclusively take-out joints and deliveries with no in-house seating, and certainly no buffet. Pizza Hut pizza set itself apart from other pizzas because of its greasy, oily, crispy crust. The pizza was cooked in a deep dish pan and it gave it a distinct taste that was unlike any other take out pizza. We ordered from the Pizza Hut Express coming home from hockey at the Milton Sports Centre just down the road on a Tuesday evening. The online ordering system is straight forward and easy to use and we had no problem with placing our order. This Pizza Hut is located in a busy plaza on Scott and Derry with plenty of parking. We ended up ordering one of their family meal deals which came with 2 medium pizzas (8 slices each , chicken tenders, garlic bread sticks; two dipping sauces and a chocolate chip dessert cookie thing. It came out to just over $38. We got our food home and the meal was more or less gut fill with nothing particularly memorable about it. It didn't have the same greasy crust and was somehow less oily if that makes any sense? The crust was much more doughy and fluffy than what I remember and was not the same as the one from my youth. Even though I'm sure it's probably a smidgeon healthier, that's not what I wanted! I wanted the grease! Anyway, it was average and not particularly good. In the future, I think I'll pass and head over to Longos or even Sobeys and get something to eat from there..."

"We went to this restaurant on August 20th to celebrate a friends birthday. Food and service was great. We were sitting on the outdoor patio which has a plastic tarp separating it from the parking lot. Early into the evening some idiot showed up in a Ferrari and parked facing the patio with the headlights shining through the tarp. Once parked he continued to rev the engine for 20 minutes or so. He then left the parking lot and the car could be heard racing around the street. The car returned to the parking lot and once again he started revving the engine. The noise was deafening and we were unable to carry on a conversation. At no time did any staff go out and speak to the driver. We were actually starting to wonder if he was going to drive through the patio area and take out everyone in his way. Since no staff were prepared to address the problem my friend and I along with another guy from the table went out to confront this moron. He didn’t speak a word but finally the noise came to an end. Somebody from the restaurant should have addressed the problem even if they had just.called 911. It ruined our evening."
