"We liked the look of the menu and booked a table at the wine shop. When we returned the proprietor had set up the best table in the place, in my opinion. He was very friendly and as we were on holiday and the menu looked good, we opted for aperitif in the form of Kirs. I chose violet for my flavor, the others had peach. Served in a vintage coupe, it was very rustic and a lovely start to our evening. I had some local sausage with salad, my friends a delicious pork mix in a roasted pumpkin and sautéed veal. You can choose the wine from the shop, no extra charge, so long as it's €9 bottle and upwards. We shared a plate of very interesting cheese to finish off our wine. Dinner for 4, with all the drinks came up to €115."

"Visited during the Fete de Pomme in Mirepoix with friends. We had booked a table for lunch and arrived at the appointed time to find the restaurant already busy and most tables full. Service was in full swing, so we had to wait a...while before we could place our orders. The waitress was cheerful and friendly, despite the rush. The food was hot and very tastey; the chevre salad was very good, as was the cassolet. The only down point was the apple tart, which was very sweet and the pastry was very soggy."
