"The food is absolutely amazing. They always hit the mark when it comes to freshness and taste. However. the service is lackluster. Some, not all of the wait staff take their time to come around between refills and to ask for dessert. Their weekend special menu is wonderful. This place has become my new regular spot for food when I'm in the area, I can always count on having a delicious meal. "We stopped in after a day of sight seeing in Houston. We're out of town but were staying in the area. It was well after the lunch rush so it was quiet. Upon recommendation I got the chicken fried chicken, it was amazing! I also got their sweet potato fries. My kids got the tacos Al carbon and fried fish, both were pleased with their food. Then we got dessert to go. Red velvet cake, oreo cheesecake and the white chocolate bread pudding. Sooo good!"

"Very nice and homie shop! Not to stun, but it has a fair amount of tables and board games to entertain you. There are also Wi-Fi that was good and allowed me to do a good amount of study. Ordered a Vietnamese ice cream coffee w/ Tapioca and bbq pork banh mi for $12.00. The drink was sweet and delicious! It came in a decent size with a fair amount of tapioca. I like it didn't get overbreathed. The Banh mi was also delicious! The sauce and the meeting were economical. There was a good distribution of vegetables. My only complaint is that I feel it could have been more meat and a bigger sandwich for the price. The cashier was very nice and had a good attitude. Customer service was good!"

"Visited this place because I am always interested in this ype of food. I have to say the interior surprised me it was modern looking, that is compared to other local Filipino establishments that are kind of plain even homey of that is the right word todescribe that. This place has a water dispenser though. Haha. All Pinoy restaurants seem to have that. I ordered the pancitmalabon $10) and fish ball skewers $3). Prices are fair: you do get what you pay for. I do have to agree the flavours are kindof light and could use a bit more salt, but the condiments are right by the counter. Use them. The pancit malabon has thickcornstarch noodles that were done well. Sauce is very good with a the distinctive taste of fermented shrimp paste. Again it wasa portion that was satisfying and will fill you up. In addition it comes with two small lumpia rolls. Could use another grilledshrimp though. Fish ball skewers come in a pair of two with 4 balls on each skewer. They were lightly fried and were soft tobite into. They didn't have any bounce and not rubbery at all. I wish the sauce was the a garlic vinegar sauce instead of thebottled sweet chili sauce that came with it. I also had some kwek kwek $3.50) battered eggs). They were fine: chicken eggsinstead of quail eggs. The batter was crisp, but could use more flavour. The hard boiled egg inside was done perfectly. This isa great place to go, food is done well and is authentic to an extent. Again I must put a reminder that Filipino food usually donot have bold flavours. The food here is representative of that."
