"During our recent stay at Manoir de Maucartier, we inquired about a local restaurant for dinner. He made a reservation for us at L'Epicurien. We were not sure what to expect, but this is like a 5 star dining experience in an entirely relaxed setting....If this restaurant had been in Paris, we could not have afforded it! However, it is very reasonably priced and considering the meal, it is an absolute bargain! The menu is in French. Although I can read (especially menus) fairly well, I did not recognize what everything was on the menu. What we did (and what anyone in that situation should do) is we asked for the Server's recommendations. The food was amazing, wonderful wine (huge selection), and very friendly staff."
