"Quattro is a family run trattoria-style neighbourhood Italian eatery. Joe, his wife, his brother and other family members prepare, cook and serve.On my recent visit with two friends, the daily lunch menu featured soup or salad with cannelloni, risotto, daily fish, veal liver, or scaloppini ranging from $20 to $26.They got us going with a pieces of wild-boar sausage, fried hot peppers and grilled bread. Luckily on Mondays and Thursday, Joe prepares a limited portion of tripe and that's what we had as appetizer followed by a main dish of seafood tagliatelle. The seafood included clams, octopus, and small and large shrimp. Both the tripe and the seafood tagliatelle amazing, cooked to perfection and very delicious.All this was washed down with a nice Tuscan red.We finished our meal with an amaro, compliments of the house and a good espresso.The place is clean, bright and has large windows. It seats 40 persons at the tables and 8 at the bar. The kitchen is open. Quattro has a small terrace with four tables and is located close to a shopping centre.For an authentic, simple and friendly dining experience, I highly recommend a visit to Quattro."
