"The reviews made the place seem promising, but it was a let down. The service was horrible. We did go in towards the end of buffet breakfast hours, but the man was extremely rude about it. We would have accepted being turned away, but instead they allowed us to purchase then rushed us and cleared before everyone in our family got a chance to get what they wanted. I will not go back."

"The restaurant is clean and spacious, waiting staff cant do enough for you and are very friendly! The food is worth every day. The prices are good, and the food is plentiful and ingenious! The daily specialties cannot be beaten, and the ice tea is perfect. The owner monitors everything and is over to see that everything is okay! Fridays is everything you can eat fish and I strongly suggest reservations for this night. Make them early. Myrtle Beach Hidden Jewel!!!"

"Beautiful from the road from tourist. pizza was very good and my wife loved the baked haddock. atmosphere great. sauce was very delicious on pizza with generous amount and for mozz sticks. waitress, whitney, daughter of the owner, was very helpful and friendly, although very busy handling table, pick up orders and phone calls. family owned and operated business, this is great to see vater and his children running a business. we like to support more than chain restaurants. another on our list. God bless them! We're coming back."

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."
