"Indeed, La Posada Ibérica The Iberian Inn did not disappoint !!! Tucked away on a side street, the restaurant is a hidden gem. It’s decor is dark and simple “wood” being the predominant theme. It was spotlessly clean and smelled pleasantly of lemon . The menu is small and simple , based on Grill and BBQ , we went for the entrecôte steak and weren’t disappointed . Delicious ,delightful , so tasty and NOT oozing the fluids of a frozen cut . Jorge , the chef, waiter, bartender handles all the tables in a fast , efficient and friendly manner. He’s fluent in English too . We’re back in Nerja in a few weeks and will certainly be back for several dinners at La Posada . Try it , you’ll be so pleased ."

"Was recommended so, We wandered around half of Nerja to find it, its tucked away from the main drag, then we couldn't get in, we had to book as there was a large party of us. Anyway, back the next night and we sat outside which felt really authentic in the bustling street. The food was great all round, mostly kebabs and steak. Stand out dish was the fish kebabs. Plenty of food on the plate too, well cooked. Staff initially seemed surly but they warmed up as it was still early (for Nerja) the house lager was poor, no idea what it was, no one had two, we all ordered something else instead for our next drink, but the selection of wines were good and not very expensive."

"Lovely meal on the terrace area. Food was good, plenty choice for all. Service very good, nice pace, and good explanation if needed. A bit pricier than others nearby, but there are so many lovely quirky rooms in the restaurant it is def worth a visit. Enjoyed a pre-dinner drink in the very small traditional bar at the front. Pre-booking looks to be necessary to get table. But worth it."

"Always come here when we are in Nerja warm welcome and friendly service. Good choice of meat/fish and Vegetarian/ Vegan meals different options to other restaurants. The Moroccan chickpea dish is delicious. All food is very good quality and presentation excellent good value for money"
