"Wow! absolutely fantastic meal tonight, we all chose the specials apart from a main course, and we all have about how good each individual was cursor. the crispy egg was boiled to perfection and the hinds of the truffles that came through were delicious, it was a great start to the evening. the main course was another great success, the bark was full of taste, and again cooked, as it should be, with the short rib bursting of taste, but it was not only the bark that had the wow factor had every element well thought out and executed. the little garlic gnocchi, and all the beautifully presented veg brought something on the plate. it was a perfectly balanced and executed dish that I would like to order again and again if it was not just a special week. not least, even if we were far enough, we could not resist the special dessert with my favorite aromas of rhabarb and ingwer, again, it was an excellent dish and surprisingly light and the perfect end to a fantastic meal, and a beautiful note to see the cook that desserts after all his hard work bring to us. we were all agreed that it was the best we ever had in the newmachar hotel, and to end the stunning eating, the service is always brilliant and so friendly and relaxed. a perfect Saturday night in what we are happy enough to call our locals!"
