"Sunday Lunch our party had been looking forward to our get together and booked a month ago for the table upstairs, which we were told on arrival was no longer available!!! No apology! Wasn 't a great start but were accommodated downstairs which was fine. Next we placed an order and paid for a large round of drinks. The guy behind the bar poured 2 then disappeared leaving six of us without drinks when we realised he wasn 't coming back we had to ask another member of staff to finish serving us! Again no apology! The food Had to ask for extra gravy and again for sauces/mustard which the waiter begrudgingly brought over two tiny pots for the whole table!!! The same size portion was given to a table of 2 next to us! We gave up asking for more. The food itself was just nice , Yorkshire Puddings were over cooked and the Pork was all fat and very little meat it wasn 't enjoyable. Beef tasted ok but have had better. Overall the pub itself is really nice and we all had high expectations but all said and done, I would give it another go but not for Sunday Lunch. I would have expected the staff (and there were plenty of them) to be attentive and more willing to make the customer experience a pleasant one. Maybe they 'd had a long day who knows but in hospitality you can 't let this show in front of the paying customers especially when you 're collectively spending just over £400! To be fair I shouldn 't be taring all the staff with the same brush but can only judge on the service we received."

"So my first visit here for my youngest brothers wedding. A lovely setting with incredible views, extremely courteous and friendly staff who could not do enough for you and a three course meal where each course was superb(very rare these days, 1 course is usually not so good) but I and everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed all three courses. It's a 10 from Len to coin a phrase. Thank you for making my brother and sister in law's day special."

"Absolutely beautiful experience from beginning to end. our waitrose (oz prawan) made the evening. so accessible and friendly. the eating was nice and the intention was amazing, with the sun went down over the pier. would highly recommend."

"We waited 1.5hrs for service- Bruschetta cold uncooked bread. Not authentic Italian one of our party complained..the acting manager was a bit overwhelmed but her customer service skills were top notch..we were a party of 7 on a busy tea time on a Saturday night. If this was my business I would be around managing it. This restaurant has potential. It just needs the owner onsite managing it especially on a Saturday!!!!"

"Just coming out of lockdown so struggling to get the offer right. Sure the plates are smaller, struggled to find the beef under a pile of veg and drinking glasses need cleaning. Very tasty, however you look at it !!"
