"The ambience and service are 5. The food is very average. Nothing special in my opinion and so on price. Salad was understated and very average. Risotto was good, but not better than any other restaurant I was in. Branzino was a little weird. Taste combinations, I'm just not sure if they worked. Olive oil cake was dry and I just didn't taste the dessert. You pay for the ambience and the service, so if that's okay with you, I'd dinate here. I have many meals that were much better. I honestly think that Wrt reviews for restaurants in general many people have high expectations in and then drink before their meals, get slightly buzzed and think the food is fabulous. And then write a review. Maybe I'm too picky. But I really didn't think the food was very good. It's okay. There were some things we enjoy, so I'll say it was a hit and misexperience would eat. At the price point, the entire meal should be impeccable. That's my expectation."

"Parking can be confusing, particularly in the dark but once settled outside with plentiful heaters, it's a wonderful, old fashioned Italian restaurant. Garlic bread side order was terrific as nice crisp to the crust but interior soft and well seasoned. The side green salad was fine and the pasta superb. Spinach lasagna again well seasoned (touch of nutmeg? and nicely crisp top. The spaghetti with meat balls also nicely done. Topped off with an excellent glass of red wine made for a dinner we couldn't finish. High marks for this little gem. Not fancy, but oh so yummy. P.s the pizzas looked great too."

"There's only three reasons why my husband I would travel the horrendously busy Highway 33 on a Saturday from South Oxnard to shop at this particular store: fresh Ojai Pixies (when in season, their meat department, most importantly.. their fabulously helpful courteous staff. <3"

"We enjoyed lunch on the back terrace. It was a nice day to drink drinks with friends. We shared the guacamole with chips and a delicious salad. Great ambience, nice and helpful staff. Wish we lived closer so that we often visit and try other items on the menu!"
