" One place with a wide variety of great tasting Asian specialties and cakes. Great taste. Great quality. Great service. Great place to dine with family and friends. :) "

"The restaurant is really bad. The noodles are hard, the broth is no different from filtered water, and the vegetables are spoiled. my friend ordered a bowl of vermicelli but it was not vermicelli but vermicelli, which was very bad. We won't be back here. It really let us down."

"Location and actual place aside, judging based on the food alone, this old school resto deserves praise.<br> I think this has been around the area for 2 or more decades. Its proximity on UP manila area made it popular among students and UP employees, aside from its regular filipino-chinese patrons.<br> Famed for their braised beef -with rice or noodles, they also serve fresh seafood viands, dimsums, their own formula of 3-in-1 coffee, buko salad/pandan, and Maricar Reyes' (wife of Richard poon -son of the owner) liqour cakes.<br> We ordered their all time favorite braised beef (220pesos) noodles and special beef rice (215pesos).<br> Beef is incredibly soft and tender, their sauce is light soy -not too salty, a little garlicky, and their broth is definitely natural beef flavored, with just the right salt.<br> If i were to choose, the beef noodles is definitely worth the try."

"Employees are accommodating and are always smiling. Pepper rice meals are okay. What I only didn't like was when it took more than just a follow up to serve the ice cream. And I was kinda disappointed that this dessert was too sweet for our liking."

"My dad loves this place because it's healthy Actually he just loves shabu-shabu because it is cleaner no oil and everything is boiled yet still flavorful The history of shabu-shabu started from Genghis Khan who feeds his army hotpot and thinly sliced meat to extend their food rations and something to warm them during cold winter nights Healthy Shabu-Shabu offers a variety of ingredients. For sets, there is a standard serving of Taiwan pechay, Baguio pechay, fresh noodles, sotanghon noodles, fish ball, squid ball, meatball, tofu slices, and some vegetables plus your choice of meat. I usually order their lamb. Aside from the hot pot they also offer cooked versions. My usual is...read more"

"Ambiance is great, it’s cozy. It is just bit noisy as it is near the Pedro Gil entrance. Perfect also to those who want to work and need to plug in their device. The resto has several power outlets. The place is neat and well-maintained Service fast from ordering to serving the food. I ordered brewed coffee and upon serving they offered milk and sugar (even asked what type of sugar). They also automatically provided glass of water. During my visit, I noticed that the waiters were really paying attention to their customers Food the baraco brewed coffee tasted great! The blend is just what I expected. For my grilled cheese, it is just okay. The drinks and food are pricier here."

"After our filling lunch at Ippudo, M, C and I walked around a bit -- searching for the perfect pair of white clinic / hospital shoes for C. After around an hour, and we gave up on the search already. We decided to have a "light" dessert. M mentioned that there is a newly opened dessert place in RP Manila: THE DESSERT KITCHEN! ???? Everyone agreed to give it a try. <br> <br> When we got there, M was looking for the raindrop cake, but unfortunately, it is not carried in this branch. ???? We tried the PURPLE IN LOVE instead. The three of us shared in one serving, since we were all still quite full (and to minimize our intake of sweet food). <br> <br> ✔ PURPLE IN LOVE (Php 258) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐<br> This is an Ice Monster (do you remember this crowd favorite which boomed more than a decade ago?) type of dessert, with shaved ice and toppings. Purple in Love is a grape flavored dessert -- a flavor not commonly found on desserts in the PH! Grape shaved ice topped with taro / ube... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"

"After months of ignoring this resto-cafe in front of school, I finally had the chance to give it a try. I ordered Coffee Based Frap Mocha (120PHP) and Pasta Bolognese (125PHP) w/c was recommended by a friend. The pasta is savoury and it has the 'enough' serving for its price. While the CB Frap Mocha tastes the ordinary iced cocoa w/ no kick of coffee at all!<br> <br> It's a nice place to review for the students (tolerable noise because of others who preferred to hang out there) and to conduct some meetings (because it's located inside Pearl). Some of the staff are the EAC HRM students (they're on OJT, I think) that's why they're a little bit shy but they do well in their careers!<br> <br> Definitely will come back to try their pasta dishes!!! And some hot/iced coffee. Hehe. Cheers, Sir Campos!"
