"Wirklich sehr zufällig über dieses kleine feine Restaurant gestolpert.... und über das Pferdesteak auf der Karte.Die Atmosphäre war sehr nett und gemütlich, dass Essen vorzüglich und den Weinempfehlungen des Inhabers bin ich zum Glück blind gefolgt.Das Steak vom Pferd war weniger ungewöhnlich als erwartet und ausgesprochen zart, der Wein dazu passte perfekt, nur die Käseauswahl zum Dessert entsprach nicht ganz dem exklusiven Anspruch des Restes.Insgesamt eine tolle kleine Location in der man sich wohlfühlen kann."

"Chef Thaï had phenomenal food. The service was also excellent, I felt as if the staff went beyond and beyond to make my meal the best it could be. The food was the food in Los Angeles. I'd eat a lot again here. Can't wait to try more food on their excellent menu."

"Uma amiga, ao saber que eu estava em Paris, enviou uma mensagem sugerindo um restaurante. Era o Derrière. O restaurante fica em um prédio afastado da rua, tendo uma passagem que chega a um terraço interno, onde algumas mesas estavam disponíveis. Fazia frio. Preferimos entrar. Assim que entramos, um atendente olhou o relógio: 14:50 horas. Pedi uma mesa para dois. Ele chamou outra pessoa que nos disse que a cozinha fechava em dez minutos, mas que nos atenderia se fôssemos rápidos em nosso pedido. Nem precisava de muito esforço para decidir, pois o menu do almoço é super enxuto. Você escolhe uma entrada e um prato principal, ou um principal e a sobremesa, incluindo uma bebida, ao preço fixo de € 25. Se quiser o trio, paga-se € 30. Eram cinco opções de entradas, cinco de pratos principais e quatro de sobremesa. O garçom ficou em pé ao nosso lado, meio que fazendo pressão para tirar o pedido. Ambos escolhemos o menu de € 25, ambos bebida + entrada + prato principal. Para beber, pedimos Coca Cola Zero, garrafa de 330 ml. Minha entrada foi antepasto de berinjela, homus e coulis de manjericão. Entrada muito bem servida, com ótimo aroma. O visual que não ajudava muito. O sabor era forte, mas sem ser enjoativo. Com o pão que foi servido em uma cesta, ficou ótimo. Assim que terminamos de comer as entradas, chegaram os pratos quentes. No meu caso, foi um um leitão de leite assado em baixa temperatura, acompanhado por acelga e abóbora moranga grelhadas. Mais um prato bem servido, também com um visual feio, mas muito aromático, pois era temperado com muitas ervas. Carne macia, quase derretendo na boca. O sabor amargo da acelga foi um bom contraponto ao sabor delicado e adocicado da carne de porco. Somente depois de almoçar que fomos curtir a decoração do Derrière. Com muitas peças de brechó, seus ambientes são decorados de forma despojada e alegre. O restaurante ocupa dois pisos do prédio, preservando os antigos ambientes da casa. Assim, você pode sentar em uma mesa pequena no antigo banheiro, ou em uma mesa grande no salão principal. Ficamos sabendo depois, que é um dos restaurantes pré-balada do momento, sendo suas noites bem concorridas, sendo recomendável reservar antes."

"We have set ourselves to drink a drink before dinner, only to be greeted by a very arrogant waiter. when we didn't understand his French right away, instead of helping us, he told us how to be the French waiters who only exist in the...movies today. we have our pastis and laughed about it. happy that we booked somewhere else to eat."
