"There are 2 nights. I had the broken squids and chips on the 1st and 2nd evening, my man had both the steak-pie and he said it was for dying. 1. At night dessert we had apple slice with custard and the other half had Clootie dumpling and custard. 2. At night I had eton chaos and he had sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and custard. the prices were very reasonable, we had hight tea price for 1st night at £12 for 2 courses. animated venue for meals and drinks, good place to eat when they go to the festival theatre. music plays in the background and not loud, very attentive. it would be coming to everyone"

"After seeing the vegan menu online, I asked for it on arrival as many of the options were not in the main menu. We found the service to be quite fast on arrival, but at the end of the evening it felt like they forgot us! After my husband Dessert had ordered, we didn't see anyone for 40 minutes and decided to go to the bar to pay our bill. There were 3 options for each course. some options on the main lists have been removed. I chose the soup and potato soup with warm bread that was really nice. I then had the green linguine that was full of Courgettes, peas and green paprika. I was worried it wouldn't have much taste without having a lot of sauce, but I really enjoyed it. The portions were generous and the staff was friendly."
