"Excellent service and excellent fish. Went there with my mother-in-law and it was great. Big portions too, so definetly worth the money. Tried the pizza in other occasions too, and that's great as well. Perfect place for family, friends and I wouldn't disregard it for a date either."

"We ate a lot of pizza as you might imagine traveling with a bunch of teenagers. We really liked this place. Their namesake pizza, Re Cupido, looked amazing. A friend ordered it, and in hindsight, I wish I would have also. Although I have no complaints about mine. Another winner in Pordenone!"

"On 16th July we visited Pordenone, a medieval city in the North East of Italy. It is a wonderful place and has a large outdoor market that was the best place for the purchase of a new Italian leather handbag. The Campanile is a tall bell tower at the end of a fashionable city centre street that has arcades and many cafes. Close to the Campanile in vicolo del campanile is the Al Campanile restaurant It was Saturday lunch time and the place was busy with couples and families. We sat outside on one of the small, well-presented tables in the cool surroundings. We just had two bowls of Spaghetti Carbonara and my wife had a large glass of local white wine. (I was driving so it was just sparkling water for me! The food was very good and we will return to try some of the other items on the menu such as the local San Danielle prosciutto and wonderful cheeses. The young lady waitress was attentive and assisted us, as a couple of foreigners. The owner and chef were impressive guys and looked pleased at my attempts to thank them for the good food. Great place to eat “home cooking” type Italian food. Thanks!"

"Plenty on offer at this very nice restaurant close to the centre of Pordenone. It’s opposite a small chapel used for evening entertainment e.g. a local string quartet. Hence the view when dining outside is very special. (But watch out for mosquitoes. A full a la carte menu is available with the speciality being a wide selection of cured hams of differing flavours and “strengths”. The fine cheese complemented the meal very nicely. The pasta dishes were excellent as was the pork fillet. The selection of red wine was excellent, some available in 1.5 litre bottles. This restaurant is recommended for any stay in Pordenone. Thanks to the friendly staff. We will return."
