"Enjoyed a great round of golf at Eaglecrest. Still getting over some rough winter weather but the course was in good shape, service from Cory in the Pro Shop was great. Wish we had time for a few bevies after the round. Thanks Eaglecrest. We'll be back."

"Our first time eating here in a few years. Still that great atmosphere and even when busy I can have a conversation with my spouse without shouting. Service was a tad slow but we expect that everywhere these days with staff shortages. Our server was...fantastic and never made us feel forgotten. My father-in-law had the salmon tacos, hubby had the salmon burger and I had the chicken burger. Everything was delicious and well worth the wait. Modest selection of beers on tap and a decent dessert menu. Banana Cream Pie was a nice finish."

"Smart gem of a bistro. TheBistro is a small sophisticated eatery that can remind one of Paris. It may be small but it is large in flavourful food prepared with casual elegant expertise. The chef/owner Tony Szeles( he is of Hungarian back ground is an old school trained chef with impeccable credentials.His food is simple , clean, direct, no muddying of too many ingredients that plague so many so called Hip west coast bistros Mr. Szeles' deft touch takes a simple ingredient like a potato and transforms it in to a hungarian rhapsody as a silky cream of poato,leek and dill soup. "I do have to admit that that was a very fun red Thai curry....not too spicy, but so flavourful that it didn't have to be. Lots of those Korean basil/mint leaves giving it flavour. I was disappointed in the pad thai...a little oily and not...so tasty, although some of that could have been the result of it being takeout and the time it took to get it to where we were staying. The Mango salad was pretty good and fresh tasting....but I couldn't find anything in it that tasted like mango."

"The place is super funky, retro, antique, a very comfortable, cozy feel. Love the quilt covered wicker, and charm. So much to look at in every direction of the property. We enjoyed amazing treats: a buckwheat/almond flour layer cake that was to die for, and a poppyseed, raisin pastry - not nearly as good, but still nice.I'd spend a few hours here any day of the week - but of course, they are only open on Saturdays! Summary: high quality ingredients & taste--equally high prices!"

"A group of 5 of us gathered to celebrate a birthday and since none of us had been here before, wanted to check it out. Service was slow, but friendly. Unfortunately, our meals were unmemorable. In view of this, we felt it was over-priced for what we received. We brought our own home-made birthday cake and they were gracious enough to allow us to serve our own cake. None of us felt that we would choose this restaurant for a special occasion."
