"Chose this restaurant from TA reviews. Waiter was very friendly. Beware! Ordered a bottle of wine. Waiter suggested a whole fish (red snapper) for my wife and I. It was not on the menu. Insisted that it would be very good. We consented. The fish was average. Not at all great. Small salad accompanied the meal. Ordered another bottle of wine and then coffee. When the check came...boy what a surprise!The fish was 45 euros. No fish on the menu was over 11 euros. I thought it might be 20 or even 25 euros, but holy cow! Shame on me for not asking the price...shame on my smiling waiter for sticking it to us. Nothing to do but pay the bill. Beware the smiling and ever so kind waiter...said the spider to the fly. "We went there twice in the same week, because we needed to try so many dishes that we couldn't make it in one go! The steak tartare is great and the prawn croquettes are to die for. Good quality of tuna dishes and decent wine selection. Waiters were attentive and polite. Great start!"

"We are staying at apartment on the beach very close... so, we stopped in tonight for dinner. Every person that we encountered (until Antonio) was so indifferent, rude, no eye contact, no concern for us as customers. Hard to get any service, just unbelievable how terrible they all were to us... Luckily, at one point, Antonio saw that we were trying to get someone's attention to order more food and drinks, and stopped. We were impressed by his attitude, his professionalism, his concern for our needs... after all the other servers and bartenders had ignored us, or begrudgingly took an order... when he came along, we were genuinely surprised at being treated so nicely in this restaurant. The food was good, we loved the anchovies in vinegar! ... but the service, unacceptable!! We have been in Spain (Madrid, Malaga, La Herradura) for three weeks now and have not experienced the awful service we had tonight before. (Especially surprising after the truly kind and wonderful service we received last night at La Inopia). We won't be back!"
