"Lovely Sunday lunch here, have enjoyed eating here a few times with members but it seems like we are the only people that dress smartly for Sunday lunch, everyone else dresses as if they are in a pub!."

"My Partner and I went for dinner at Vincent's diner on a recommendation. It is lovely with views down the Thames overlooking Laleham reach, some Swans even turned up for a feed, although I don't think Vincent charges them. The narrow boat is clean and...pretty and Vincent's company was excellent. Chatting away while he takes care of you. We had the Thai style menu and it was very very good, authentic and beautifully presented, we bought our own wine (on Vincent's recommendation). It is very different to a restaurant vibe, cosier and personal, We'll be coming back."

"Afternoon tea was disappointing. Frozen cucumber sandwich, leftover chicken sandwich, undercooked pinwheel. All tasting a little 'old '. Took a while to arrive and pot of tea arrived after food. I really wanted it to be better as it was a gift voucher we used. Would be nice if they kept the afternoon tea 'ers together as it was a special occasion and there were lots of very underdressed people in shorts, going to the bar which lessens the experience. Would I go for afternoon tea again, no. Positives were staff and scones!"

"Have been visiting the Spicey Otter for years including witb sime friends from Pakistan. The food is consistently very good, reasonably pruces and the staff wonderful. This is the best around for miles for many many miles."

"The service that was provided was phinominal. We really enjoyed the steak and lobster that was cooked according to our choice and the cocktails were amazing. The ambience of the restaurant sets the mood. Special thanks to Royden for providing us with his outstanding service and with the product knowledge. Thanks for making our day. "There's a very broad menu but it has to be said that service is limited to grunts. The food arrived suspiciously quickly and the eggs on my breakfast clearly showed they had been sitting waiting for me. Okay but nothing special"

"My Wife and myself visited San Marco on a Friday evening We were excited as we love Italian and Addlestone has not had an Italian restaurant before so considering my house is only up the road, location wise is also a bonus. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and the food was delicious. We were so impressed that we will be returning on Valentines Day :"

"Since becoming gluten intolerant I havent bothered with burgers, the idea of having a baked patty from most fast food places has not appealed. So glad I did here though, it's a lovely comfortable place with brilliant friendly staff and the food was amazing, my burger was laid bare with bacon, cheese salad and chips and tasted divine, such a shame people only think of the faster burgers from other brands when wimpy offers a pretty unique HQ sit down burger experience that left me full of good food and not slightly sick (like those others used to) toped with an amazing shake (totally free from all allergens) Wish I lived closer, would be back each week for my burger fix if I could"

"Decent but not great. We came at the tail end of the Sunday Roast serving and paid for it with potatoes that you couldn't slice into. Lamb portion was huge though, and the beef tasted fine. Sticky Toffee Pud was a bit dry, so they lay tons of toffee sauce on it. Best thing was the waffle dessert. Yummy!"
