"The restaurant is located in a picturesque setting by the pond Saint Estèphe. The service is excellent with the waitress explaining the complexity of the dishes. The menu of the day meal ( Moulin menu) is highly recommended. The servings for the three dishes are ideal, the foods are cooked to perfection and the mix of flavors and textures is superb. Highly recommended!"

"Everyone enjoyed this place for lunch. Menu du jour was €12. This was 4 courses of simple but excellently prepared dishes. From the vegetable soup to the perfectly aged slices of cheese. Pitchet of decent local claret was €6. They let our little girl share our food and even gave her a free ice cream. Obviously family run as so efficient and welcoming. Great place to stop off between tastings in the Medoc as just outside St Estephe with river views."

"Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The manager of our chateau/inn was reluctant to suggest it, and she was right. We only ate here because we could not get a last minute reservation anywhere else nearby, and this place was TERRIBLE. It is almost impossible to have a bad meal in this region, and at this price this restaurant's operation is inexcusable. The food was terrible, and we tried 5 different dishes and they were all so bad we could not finish any of them (and we hadn't even eaten lunch). The service was a total joke, this is the Fawlty Towers of Medoc restaurants. Just do not go, and make sure no one you know goes here either (unless you hate them)."
