"Having dinner with a group is a different experience. Waitress was very rude and very impatient. Looked like she didn't want to serve us at all. At least, the food was good and we had a good get together."

"On a recent trip to the Montreal area I found myself in the position of needing a gluten and sugar free cake for a family event. I had to contact several bakeries as my request was last minute and out of the ordinary. Finally I chanced upon Dolce Passion and its proprietor Isabel. She was more than happy to work with my requests on such short notice. The cake itself looked exceptional and was a hit with the family. I would recommend this establishment without hesitation."

"Very friendly and wonderful staff, great food. It is not a restaurant, but more of a french deli, (so homemade cold cuts, pates, sausages) but they have sandwiches and sides (coleslaw, beet salad, etc.).Not normally a fan of cold cuts from the grocery store but after being given a sample of theirs I try to make it a point to visit there when I'm in the area to take home their assortments of cuts and pates. They also have homemade sweets on rotation.Have not tried the sweets or marinated meats but everything else was fantastic."

"The waiters were very attentive, but the value for money in this restaurant is very poor. The dishes were well presented but with hardly any protein, I could count the amount of shrimp on the plate (only 6), the rest was rice and vegetables, same in the sweet and sour chicken dish. I also ordered a tempura as a starter, it only had 2 shrimps, the rest was vegetables. I have been to several Asian restaurants and in this one I felt like I was wasting my money. I do not recommend it"

"Having decided to satisfy my cravings, I headed to Tardes Caleñas based on reviews. Food was OK... but I have tasted even better Colombian food elsewhere in Montreal. What really shocked us was the way the owner of the place seemed to be extremely kind to us, but super mean to her employees. She didn't mind yelling or scolding the waitress for the smallest reasons... the whole scene was very uncomfortable. Pricing was really high! Meals at $20ish and $30ish for a little shack in the middle of StHubert... not very coherent... too pricey for what it is."

"The atmosphere of this place is nice and the decor really makes you think that you're sitting in an authentic Belgian restaurant. The waiter we had was very friendly and efficient and really knew his beers, and made all the right recommendations. Their selection of Belgian and other international beers is very vast and impressive. While my wife and I did appreciate our visit, the food was average. She had thai moules et frittes and I had the contre fillet. Both our meals were ok but far from being exceptional. Overall a nice friendly place."
