"Best place in the Mont Tremblant village to eat. Food was fresh and well prepared. Had the soup of the day, an asparagus and zucchini soup that was good. Had the Arctic Char for dinner. Two huge pieces of fish with orzo, peas, and tomatoes. Was awesome. Desert was a bread pudding that was good also. The creme brûlée was out of this world. A little pricey, but well worth it!"

"This restaurant is our heart for a dinner with a couple. managed by a family team, the welcome is warm and personalized. We had a great time. food was excellent, the choice was just quite varied and the atmosphere is simple but just quite refined. they have local products and serve an excellent chaga tea! The location is also very good: in front of the thanking lake, in the village, and a municipal bus stop is located right in front of the door. We are charmed and note this place in our good addresses! next time we'll be there, we'll definitely stay in their hostel!"

"4 friends of girls on a trip in the direction of trembling, we stopped there by chance and what a beautiful discovery! the wine, the pink sangria, the delicious foods and with a nice presentation of the plates! we had an out-of-peer service on the terrace despite an important storm ! to advise !"

"Ok. I have been to sEb 3 times before tonight. The first visit, over 10 years ago, was an excellent experience. The subsequent visits have been very uneven, to say the least. I’m reluctant to rate a restaurant right now (with the long tail of the pandemic still afoot, and personnel hard to come by), but given that others are rating, and that tonight was similar (in a negative way) to my last visit in (pre-pandemic) Jan 2020, I will throw my hat into the ring. We started the evening with a very confusing and jumbled explanation of the table d’haute options (versus à la carte), and two of us decided to to the 4-course tasting menu with wine pairing. The 3rd member did à la carte. To save time I will give bullet point comments: • Foccacia came quickly, along with water. It was delicious, to be sure. • Then a long long wait for the amuse bouche (under- seasoned gazpacho). Amuse bouche should be free (it was typically a tiny portion), but unbeknownst to us it was being treated as Course 1! Served with a quite nice sparkling wine, but a very short pour. •Another long long wait for the entrées (appetizers). Plied with more foccacia to tide us over. We were starving by the time they arrived. • Entrée was mahi mahi ceviche/tartare. Very good. Paired with a nice white, but again, TINY pours. • À la carte entrée (for the non-table d’haute member) was bland broth with shrimp wontons. Utterly tasteless. • Then, an interminable, and I mean interminable, wait for the mains. Plied with yet more foccacia in the meantime to seemingly divert us from the wait. Red wine was poured (again, very short pours) too early and was long gone before mains arrived. •Finally mains arrived; the Duck breast was not hot and was tough. Halibut was tasty but overcooked. A restaurant of this reputation should not overcook halibut. Ever. It can’t handle overcooking, like some fish can. And we were given literally another 1 inch (tops) “complimentary” red pour to accompany the duck (it should have been a complimentary full pour, due to the incredible wait). • Dessert finally arrived (we thought there was also to be a cheese plate, but that’s when we realized the 1-ounce portion of gazpacho (the amuse bouche) was being counted as course 1, and there would be no cheese plate. It was a nice dark chocolate fudge-like dense cake….quite good. •Finally, the overpriced check. • This restaurant is simply not delivering the service or product it boasts, sorry. I’ve had far superior meals and service from establishments that charge notably less than these prices (for larger amounts of food). We had an amazing meal at Grille St. George right around the corner the night before, served with aplomb and efficiency with outstanding quality food (tender scallops, flank steak, delicious desserts, etc). Come on sEb….if you’re going to charge these prices and boast such culinary dominance in the region….deliver."
