"Excellence place, the terrace is beautiful and the plates are delicious. Try any pasta with carbonara sauce seafood, pizza is also good. Great ambience, amazing option for having a date and surprise that woman with a glass of wine, great food and if there is a concert at the park in front you have the total package. Only weakness I've seen, the menu for drinks is nothing original from my perspective, they could have a better variety of wines and cocktails but I felt it a little poor. Out of that, for being at longueil is a great option."

"I rarely review restaurants I visit only once, but on this trip to Montreal I was fortunate to go outside the commonly visited areas of Montreal (across the river where Montrealers tell me they never go) to Cru. First rate food. The octopus was wonderful and complemented beautifully by the whipped cream leavened mix of pureed potato and leek a thicker but lighter (I know this sounds like an oxymoron) vichychoisse. Veal cheeks where the meat melts in the mouth. The waiter chose perfect wine by glass accompaniments, especially the Italian chardonnay for the octopus and the oysters, which preceded the octopus. Dessert of chocolate mousse cake was sinful, especially the accompanying small cubes of chocolate covered hazelnut wafers. Service was unhurried without feeling that it took too long between courses. We enjoyed the setting, food, and service so much we split a glass of Calvados just to prolong out dinner."

"A nightmare When we walked in the restaurant the 4 of us were brought to our table by a young lady. Our first impression was nice place! White table cloth and quiet ambiance. A few minutes later the waiter came to our table with his order pad and we told him that we were not ready to order. He abruptly replied “me either, I’m just here to explain the menu”. I asked him if he could please explain it in English as my husband is an anglophone. He rudely said no we don’t speak English here you will have to translate to him. Wow, I couldn’t believe the frustrated attitude that this Grumpy Old Waiter had in this beautiful little restaurant. The food is excellent, the place is very clean and prices reasonable. My husband place his order in English and the waiter totally understood. As a matter of fact he asked him if he likes blue cheese. The plates arrived and my husband and our friends had to wait to start eating as he was taking his time to bring me my plate. Last one to be served was me after the guys got their plates. During the meal he would talk to the guys in English...soooo strange but never said a word to the ladies. I have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant before. Never asked us if our meal was to our satisfaction or if we needed anything else such as coffee or tee. When he brought us our bill he face changed when he realized that my girlfriend and I took out our credit card to pay. Surprise….not always men pay the bill. I am usually a heavy tipper but this time...tip $0 and so did my girlfriend. Too bad because it affected the hostess’ tip too. When we left...here are his words “Don’t come back we don’t need you here. Next time go to McDonald”….Actually McDonald offers a better service then he does. Would I recommend Pasta E Vino? Food wise YES and if you want your evening to be ruined and stressful YES."

"Just wanted to thank the staff at Bazz ( including the kitchen ) for another perfect meal!Went there in the fall for a 60th wedding anniversary and again last weekend for a Fathers Day, and everything was delicious. BYOW , outdoor patio in the back garden, freindly servers and GREAT food.Looking forward to my next visit :)"
